Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Carlton Charles of North Street.
His body was found lying face down on the floor of an abandoned house on North Street, with both hands bound behind his back and both feet tied. He was at the dressed in dark coloured short pants and a yellow t-shirt.
A friend of the deceased made the discovery after he went looking for him around 4 pm on Sunday. His body was in the advanced stages of decomposition. Dr. Charles-Barton arrived on the scene and pronounced the body dead around 5:55pm. Further investigations are ongoing into the matter.
Meantime, police are appealing to any with information surrounding this incident to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or 462-3914.
