Cadaphe Evanson Fatally Shot in Freetown During Alleged Shootout With Police
Cadaphe Evanson was shot and killed on Monday night during what police say was an exchange of gunfire in Freetown between law enforcers and individuals engaged in criminal activity.
According to police, officers came under fire while conducting a major operation in the area and returned fire, resulting in Evanson being fatally wounded. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A police officer was also injured during the incident but has since been treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators recovered a firearm and several matching rounds of ammunition at the scene.
ABS News understands that another man has since turned himself in to police, accompanied by an attorney, and is being questioned.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and have urged anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or the anonymous Crimestoppers hotline at 800-TIPS (8477).

Congratulations to the Freetown police officers who shot that guy. When I was in antigua I use to watch that same guy on the block liming with his firearm in his waist on many occasions so please don’t blame the police officers. Plus Freetown police station is not in any good condition you should see the poor condition that police officers has to live under the have to full bucket out side in a tank to flash toilet and to shower. The police station don’t even have good doors to close. I know because I use to there liming with my military colleagues and them kudos to WPl horseford and her team.
I concur with Dave ray, crime never pays, even government officials and civil servants will learn, there was a former prime minister that stayed here sick when he had the government backing and personal wealth to go abroad for the best medical treatment, but being scare about the crimes committed against Antigua and Barbuda and internationally, wisdom dictated he stayed here and enjoy the diplomatic immunity afforded in ANTIGUA. This young man has no identity or ideology, just lust of conspicuous consumption as the politicians, socially influence by Vybz Kartel and quick Rich politicians create an illusion of them attaining wealth by stealing like politicians and killing sang by Vybz Kartel, Sorry he had to lose his life but who knows! He probably took someone life that we don’t know of, a gun means his intent to murder, someone he hurt with that gun in the pass got justice in their mind. So too politicians that steal from the country may also cause someone to lose their lives at the hospital when the medication or doctor or equipment is not available due to lack of funds to procure the service, but just voting them out is not the panacea, we need develop plans for the nation and not for a political party 5 year mandate, That we the people ask them to implement,and better participation in civics by the people. The proliferation of religious organization is pernicious to the nation development, since they wield unelected power, they can be monetized by corrupt politicians to keep the people subjugated to their political will, that needs to be control by taxes and license to separate the governmental relationship with the church. the colonial planters had the same relationship with the church during slavery to control the people they enslaved.

The legal system has failed us on multiple occasions, every police officer should be given a licence to kill so these criminals never make it to our courts.

The police need to do this more often. Clean up the streets. Ensure that robbery becomes a death sentence so they will understand to cut the nonsense out. Too many innocent harworking people are losing their hard earned money and in some cases their helth or their lives. I support headshots for these criminals who refuse to work. There is a lot of construction work available for these able bodied young men who decide to rob people.

This is life in Wadadli we know alot and see even more, we are friends, neighbors and even families of some of these loosers but we stuck to the famous line of Sergeant Shultz (Hogan Heroes) ” I see nothing, i know nothing” and as I kept saying they walked amongst us, party with us and even sleep in the same house, look at the background of this photo.
I know Max and when I first heard of this murder rap, it was really hard back then to believe that Max was capable of such wicked deed, since he wasn’t brought up that way but life in the ghetto no easy, bad influence usually hangs out at every corner while taking the rap is just a part of the gang thing.
His friend got charged for the murder as he was found with the gun used for the crime but the streets know is Jun pulled the trigger.
