He has been jointly charged with attempted murder, shooting with intent, and robbery in connection with the incident.
It is alleged that Teague, along with 25-year-old Irannie Grant and 20-year-old Neil Mitchell, both of Parham, went to a superette and held the owner, 57-year-old Claudette Edwards, at gunpoint.
During the hold-up, Edwards was shot and robbed of an undisclosed sum of money.
Grant and Mitchell have already made a court appearance and were remanded to prison.
All three suspects are expected to return to court after the Carnival holidays, on Wednesday, August 3, at which time a committal date will be confirmed. The matter will then be adjourned to District B, the All Saints Magistrates Court.
Chief Magistrate Joanne Walsh dealt with the matter on Thursday due to the unavailability of Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel-Edwards in whose district the offence occurred.
Teague was the third man being sought by the Police in relation to the robbery and shooting. After a Wanted Bulletin was put out on him, he turned himself in to the Police earlier this week.
