Zavique Romeo, 25, was told he was free to go after spending eight months on remand for armed robbery and larceny.
Romeo was accused of arming himself with a gun and robbing a man of $5000 cash on January 1, 2020.
The defendant was also accused of stealing the victim’s Sukuzi Grand Vitara vehicle.
The case was dismissed today due to lack of evidence, on the advice of the DPP.
