A 32-year-old man was hospitalised on Friday after he was allegedly assaulted by his employer during a workplace dispute in Royal Gardens.

The incident, which occurred at about 11:15 a.m., left the victim — a resident of Cassada Gardens — with a wound to his forehead and other injuries to his body. He was transported by Emergency Medical Services to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre for treatment.

Police say the man reported the attack to Langfords Police Station. The alleged assailant, identified as his employer from Pares Village, is accused of striking him with a PVC pipe during what witnesses described as a heated argument.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
