Yes I was there 2 days to encounter him verbally abusing a nurse and an orderly ……and with all he was saying they still help him….smh

Who writes these articles? Why are you sensationalizing and scandalized the man? A more compassionate route would be to use the platform to call for assistance in identifying the person in need, not describing his bathroom and clothing habits.

It could be that the individual has dementia. Aren’t there any facilities in Antigua that cater for individuals like this?

He was found in a garage in a distressed way and taken to hospital by the EMS does not classify him as been abandoned. Maybe he is a vagrant. How ever better care should be taken of him. According to the information given he has issues that needs to be looked after..

The reality is that iff this abandoned patient were a black African, a black non-national, a Caribbean national, a black national of Antigua and Barbuda, MSJMC would NOT be facing this problem at this time.
How did he get admitted in the first place? Did he just walk into the facility and demand to be hospitalized? What records were taken upon admission, including his ability to pay for services provided – residence status, next of kin, MBS card holder or not, address, occupation etc.? Based on the information provided by this “Reporter”, I can only conclude that the administrators, NOT the patients fully well DESERVE to be pissed on and treated with the contempt that white people, especially British white people, have consistently shown to black people especially those who feel they have to bend over backwards to serve these descendants of our so-called colonial masters. Tax-payers should not be funding this!

I am reading here That This Abandoned Elderly Man has been in the Emergency Room for at least 1 week Now …… Disturbing the Patients, Nurses and The Environment of A CRITICAL Area of the SLBMC.

Can I ask Who is In Charge of the ADMINISTRATION of The SLBMC and WHY has THIS Person/Persons not TAKEN ACTION to CORRECT This Situation?

I guess it would be sensationalise by ANR too, if he went to Heritage Quay when the Cruise ships are docked and he walks around spitting at tourists and pissing in front of businesses. Or go to VC Bird Airport and behave the same way.
He should be fingerprinted and have his blood sent to wherever he’s from to check if he’s a fugitive hiding out in Antigua.

He has fingerprints and blood. The best identification that there is. Law enforcement need to run his profile through Interpol Identification system similar to CODIS in America, if he’s from England.
