THE MINISTRY OF TOURISM SAID: The Ministry of Tourism is proud to announce that Maliah Stuart of Christ the King High School and Chakyra Lambert of Old Road Primary School have been recognized for their outstanding performances in the 2024 Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Children’s Essay Competition.
Maliah Stuart secured 3rd place in the Senior Division, earning a laptop and US$1,000 for her school. Chakyra Lambert, representing Antigua and Barbuda in the Junior Division, was awarded US$200 for her school.
The students recently received their prizes from the FCCA during a formal presentation ceremony.
This recognition highlights the remarkable talent of Antigua and Barbuda’s young scholars and underscores the nation’s commitment to fostering educational excellence and promoting sustainable tourism.
