Magnitude 3.7 Earthquake Recorded Near Guadeloupe
The University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre (UWI SRC) reported a magnitude 3.7 earthquake late Thursday night.
The tremor occurred at 10:22 pm local time (2:22 am UTC) and was centered at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The epicenter was located at latitude 16.17N and longitude 60.75W, approximately 88 kilometers east of Point-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe; 120 kilometers northeast of Roseau, Dominica; and 160 kilometers southeast of Saint John’s, Antigua and Barbuda.
