Magistrate Conliffe Clarke has reportedly passed away.
The circumstances of his death are currently unclear, but he had been in poor health in recent weeks.
His passing comes just over a year after celebrating the completion of his cancer treatment.

Magistrate Clarke was without a doubt one of the most observant, attentive and knowledgeable man I have known. Compassionate and humble, he represents the very best of humanity. With a contagious smile and infectious laugh, he was always easy and pleasant to talk to, even in the court setting.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to his dear wife and son, and to the magistracy and to all the lawyers and court staff with whom he often interact. We have lost a very good man.
