why was he playing brave how can u make a move like that with two person with a gun am glad he’s alive tho, something need yo be done too much criminals Antigua ain’t a safe zone anymore it has become little America
I think he realize it was just a flare gun and took the chance to defend himself
Na worry man the spirit of Brother McNiven ga deal with them
Time to implement curfew.
I totally agree
The coming of Christ is at hand.Too many bad things a happening these days.Every day is some kind of bad news.Antigua have too much illegal guns on the streets. The bad boys have bigger guns than the police.
Government needs to get security guards on the road because clearly, the police is missing in action. In our country, The police in Antigua doesn’t patrol at any time and the criminals know that already. Last morning at 5:00 AM, I went to the Airport and from Five Island to VC Bird, I didn’t see one police officer on the road!
Earth a run red…
we need the death penalty. when tgey kill people their penalty is death. period!
They must have gone to Grammar School, see.
The thing that strikes me is how easy these things happen, one never know, any time, any place, day or night. These loosers, school drop out, sit at corners or abandon houses smokes and who knows, then bravely and stupidly make their move.
Look at these two Clowns, you can see youngsters and you then wonder how could they afford two guns, who are their suppliers?
I listen to the police chief and shook my head, not only he but the other one that claim he is preacher man on what to do with these youths.
They are criminals and should be treated as such You want rehabilitation make it a real army booth camp. These youths have become wise to the game and realized they can commit these vicious acts and just get away with a slap on the wrist, it’s like when gangs use to induct youngsters to commit certain crimes just because of age.
We are being terrorise by these youths and they are getting away clean, for we never have a follow up on so may of these cases, it’s a lucky thing most of them don’t know how to shoot.
What is the real root of the problem. Is it poverty, lack of opportunity, drug use, no family structure, social media, TV shows( Power Book II) and our legal system. Now we are all at risks.
Happy that if wasn’t worse. I think we need to pause as a nation and carefully examine our education and security sectors. Too many of our teenagers are kept back in classes or expelled and have no alternative. Our limited technical area is not too technical as we bombard our already non academic students with academic subjects instead of devising proper methodology for teaching theory. Some parents cannot afford private schools when students are expelled, so naturally they will be home or on the streets and over time, the devil finds work for idle hands.
More patrolling needs to be done around the clock and not just when persons are going to work. Police needs sophisticated weapons so they can deal with those criminal elements, appropriately
Getting security is not going to make much difference hun. Them need police place all over. Them too much in station yard a run Them mouth. Only time u see police on road is after a crime happen. Chupz.them excuse always be no vehicle dey. More time the vehicle Park up at one them yard. Whybthe government don’t get more vehicle and while doing that. Let the officer know the vehicle is not their personal vehicle for have Park up at their yard
You know what….I agree with this curfew thing. Now if he was successful in holding them and he beat the crap out of them the parents would’ve wanted to complain and argue.
On another note….Nobody missing two flare guns?
Earlier today I read a heartwarming story about a young commercial pilot who was able to achieve his hopes and dreams with the support of family and friends. The families of these young men should sit down with them and find out what their dream job might be and find a way to help them get their lives on a more productive path.
