
All roads will lead to New Winthorpes this weekend as big celebrations are in the pipeline for the Hampson family Matriarch, Lucille Hampson who will hit the 100 years milestone.
Lucille, who is the Grandmother of Antigua and Barbuda’s High Commissioner to London, Miss Karen-Mae Hill is slated to reach the century mark this coming Sunday, February 1st.
Among the events being planned are a family get together on Friday January 30th, a celebration of life church service at the New Winthorpes Seventh Day Adventist Church on Saturday while the curtains come down on the event with Sunday’s grand dinner and gala at La Casa Palmadita in Fitches Creek.
Mrs Hampson is the wife of the late Mr Wycliffe Hampson, the mother of ten children, six men and four women and the Grandmother and great grandmother to many.

She is the very first baptized member of the New Winthorpes SDA family.
