  1. I am glad he walked away from that situation unharmed but I don’t recommend anyone do them kinda craziness no matter what u think about the individual or how they holding weapon…Just saying what might of saved him will hang someone else.

  2. Dear Prime Minister,

This thing can’t be concealed anymore. The police has civil society have to develop a no tolerance policy for this kind of behavior. I feel as if the police doesn’t have the resources to handle the current crime levels. I would like to see the average daily reported incidents of burglary, robbery and theft from all police stations. Look at each station to determine if they have the capacity on include human resource, vehicle for patrol abd the necessary training to address the current spate. It has become scary to live in Antigua. Some of those committing crimes are out on bail for similar crimes committed a few months ago. The legal system is a joke. Also track the market makers for Stolen items. Cash Whiz etc. Plenty businesses appear to be receiving stolen items.

  3. I would have liked to hear the full story of this serious incident, because what I’m hearing from the Prime Minister, is that he taking the victims robbery as some sort of joke.

That’s why I need to hear the PM’s full radio response.

    1) Did the Prime Minister give reassurance on how overall crime is going to be tackled?

    2) Did he ensure the victim that the relevant authorities will thoroughly investigate this incident?

    3) Also, did the radio host ask Browne what measures the government are taking to stem rising gun related crimes?

    4) What was so funny about the victim responding by throwing stones? Should he have responded with a gun if he had one?

    5) And finally, when is Prime Minister Browne going to address the country about these of heinous crimes?

Maybe Browne did respond to most of the above questions, but as I didn’t get to hear the full context of this interview, I’m sure our Prime Minister reassured the victim and the country as a whole.

    Could someone enlighten me please?

Let me try and give Gaston Browne the benefit of doubt for once…
