Lifeguards Complete Basic Life Support Training

0

Lifeguards at local beaches have successfully completed Basic Life Support (BLS) training, marking a key step in enhancing safety for beachgoers.

The training, led by the Beach Safety and Security Unit, equips lifeguards with critical skills to deliver immediate care during emergencies. This preparation ensures a swift and effective response to incidents under their watch.

With their certifications now secured, lifeguards are better positioned to handle a range of medical emergencies.

The Ministry has also announced plans to install two new beach towers, aimed at improving lifeguards’ ability to monitor beach activities and enhance surveillance capabilities.

These measures are part of a broader effort to strengthen beach safety and ensure faster responses to potential hazards.
