LIAT Air will begin flights to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on December 12, expanding its regional network as part of the airline’s ongoing revival.
The new route will connect Antigua directly with the Dominican capital, offering one-way fares starting at US$348, inclusive of taxes.
The airline announced the service in a social media post on Monday, describing Santo Domingo as a “vibrant cultural hub” and encouraging travelers to book early through its website or customer service line.

The Santo Domingo launch marks another milestone for LIAT 2020 as it works to re-establish key regional routes and strengthen connectivity across the Caribbean.

I used LIAT to Jamaica and can never do so again. The planes are old and leaking and people got wet. I did not feel either safe or comfortable. Can the OECS Civil Aviation answer how these planes got certified to be in the air? And why are all the pilots and crew from Nigeria at least on the Jamaica route?
@Biggs are you sure that you didn’t fall asleep and dreamt your existence? Oh by the way it’s a Nigerian Airline called LIAT funded by Antigua & Barbuda taxpayers.
Stop it with the LIES!!!!! 70% of the airline is being funded by Air Peace.
@Fly robin. Huh?
Like I said..lying has become the go to move for this ALP administration.
Dude I hope you didn’t just said what you said with a straight face?
I guess I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and say it was just satire.
