LIAT has introduced its new baggage policy effective Nov. 30 when it returns to commercial service.
While customers will be allowed to carry on a small bag and personal item for free, their 1st Checked bag will cost US$10.
The second checked bag will cost US$60 and the airline said these prices will apply for both ways — that’s US$20 and US$120 round trip.
Infants who are ticketed separately and have a reserved seat are entitled to pay for the first bag allowance of 50lbs(23kgs) per person.
The maximum overall size per piece will be 62 inches (157 cms).

When LIAT almost died and you thought after they get resuscitated that they’ll try to encourage more people to travel with appealing prices. Not even the dead does learn!
We pay more on international flights so what. They need to find way to keep the flights going.
