I don’t know who in there right mind would take a chance with this government own company, TOO MUCH POLITICS INVOLVED WITH THE DECISION-MAKING AND knowing that these people don’t like to pay when 💩 happens…
@ THANKS BUT NO THANKS,
Government only own 30% of LIAT.
The 70% belong to the African man Air Piece who is holding Gaston and Chet’s hand in LIAT ownership
And who negotiated all this one-sided deals?
Every decisions/deal this man has made in all his power, Antigua has been at the shitty end of the stick..every damn one of them.
Just look back at all the major deals and decisions this man has made over the years, and see where Antigua stands. From Chinese MOU’s to Maduro oil money.
This man clearly only do these deals that benefit his pocket, not Antiguan’s.
I keep saying that this man suffers from ” The Dunning Syndrome Effect”. Any things are way above his purview.
Antigua will continue to be salt under this blind man, who is blinded by money. He operates more in the capacity of a finance minister and not a PM, but he’s atrociously terrible at both.
80 knots..Check….V1…Rotate…..Positive rate….Gear up please…..Full severance (100%)..Negative….What!?!
Don’t mek Trump see this picture of our black pilots. He’ll absolutely freak out and turn a bright shade of orange … oh, just wait a goddamm minute 🤣
Having flown with LIAT, these highly qualified pilots makes me proud 👏🏾
If I was desperate for a job, not sure I would ever work for LIAT. My entire life on this planet, LIAT workers are always said to not be paid. Please don’t go to LIAT to work if you want to get pay everytime you work. Just avoid the problem that is foreseeable.
When things does not work out the way we hoped they would, the easiest way out is to point fingers at others and lay the blame at the feet of everyone else other than us!
The employees of the former Liat (including the pilots) contributed significantly to the demise of the airline. I am absolutely sure that in retrospect, all the former pilots would prefer to take a pay cut than to shut the airline down.
Every Monday morning they were protesting, they were striking and making demands that were beyond the capacity of the airline at the time.
I think the miscalculation on the part of the employees and pilots in particular was that they thought that the shareholder governments would have never allowed Liat to go under. So they pushed and pushed and eventually created their own demise.
I’m only saying that they are not blameless in the collapse of the airline.
I hope that they would have learned their lessons!
