LIAT is not alone.
Likened to infants, wanting to ‘…CHEW ON FOOD,’ there have, and will always be ‘…TEETHING PROBLEMS.’ Operationally, such has been the case for ‘…LIAT.’
With this ‘…LIAT-20 Response,’ though not necessarily, yet ‘…Reasonably Appeasing,’ it appears certainly not encouraging.
WHY
Fundamental to its ‘…OPERATIONS- ‘…Air Travel,’ and ‘FOREMOST,’ are:
(i) ‘…Customer Experience: and
(ii) …Operational Profitability.’
Fundamental to these, necessarily require inter alia ‘…FUNCTIONAL RESOURCES:

How can they expect confidence in the new version of LIAT when they are already showing lack of business acumen and common sense? There should be no launch without functional website. It is indicative of things already going wrong from the jump and the willingness to make excuses. This needs to be addressed before we end up with the same kind of LIAT we had previously.
You know having problems with online booking of flights is not something new. And it is happening daily with some airlines. Even the big airlines have online issues with bookings from time to time.
But I guess when this happens with LIAT 20/20 all hell breaks loose. The critics will have to find something, anything to cry down the airline.

This is NOT a technical issue with their website as is the case with Delta or other airlines.
The release said their team is ‘developing’ the website. The site should have been up months ago.
This is unacceptable and shows a lack of vision, focus and overall management skills. This is not a sweetie shop. One mistake could cost countless lives and loss of reputation for the airline and Antigua by extension.

Look,the DAWG is under pressure to deliver on ONE promise/project after his abject failure in thirty-odd. He had to do something with an active countdown on the air daily, adding to his embarrassment.
The man has never operated a successful business. What makes us think LIAT will change that fact.
This is just another of his big farce that will crumble in the near future.
Just saw what is supposed to pass as a schedule. What a joke.
All these critics will be silenced very soon. Just a matter of time. But then again they will be looking for anything to criticize the airline. Keep on barking guys. The wagon moves on. I have been involved in many start-up companies and projects and believe me at the time of opening not everything is always in place. See the opening of the Royal Antiguan Chic. They had a deadline date to open and come what may the hotel needs to be open. The little fixes will come later. I remember when working with and for the Stanford 2020 team. And I can tell you the boss gave a deadline and come what may, we had to start the games. And boy did we almost shit in our pants to see if the grass that was just laid would hold up. While others were having fun, we were crossing fingers. Nothing is perfect in the any beginning, but as you go along you make improvements. Another big issue that comes to mind was the launch of the Affordable Care Act website. The minute it went live it crashed. Big embarrassment for Obama, but guess what? It was fixed and the program is now well established. So you guys can go ahead and cry foul. It doesn’t matter. The airline is on its way to higher heights and whether you will fly on it or not, it doesn’t matter. The Caribbean People will embrace this New LIAT 2020
