UPP’s leadership must embrace structure for success
UPP Chairman Gisele Isaac’s response to Jermaine Edwards’ withdrawal from the primary—stating that “there seems to be a template for these things”—was unsurprising but revealing. It highlights a leadership approach that appears to tolerate, or perhaps even thrive in, chaos.
While some may find unpredictability exciting, the reality is that structure is critical for leadership and organizational growth. A lack of clear processes undermines efficiency, frustrates members, and damages public confidence.
We live in a technology-driven age where templates are not just helpful but essential for achieving consistency, improving management, and fostering efficiency. If the UPP wants to regain momentum, it might start with something as fundamental as a template for processing membership applications.
Imagine the possibilities:
• Memberships processed faster and more accurately.
• Clear pathways for new and existing members to engage.
• A professional image that inspires confidence among supporters.
It’s time for the UPP leadership to realize that chaos isn’t a strategy—it’s a setback. By adopting structure and leveraging modern tools, the party can lay the foundation for a more efficient and effective future. As the saying goes: “Failing to plan is planning to fail.” It’s time for the UPP to create a plan, or perhaps, a template for success.
Sincerely,
UPP Agitator for Change

wait! Chaku Waku fraid fu show he teeth are something???? Anyway writer, you can write all you want, it won’t make a difference!
You cannot reason with someone who thinks they know it all
Couldn’t agree more, as a supporter the Leadership doesn’t seem to understand people are becoming disenchanted. It makes me wonder if they really want to take control of government or stay as Opposition party forever
well…….Pringle make more money in opposition. It’s better for him if Labour Party stays in power. If you know the amount of he makes from the government. You think SIDS Conference wasn’t great for his business? think again! Mr. Pringle understands that he is “Safer With Labour”
If some people spent half the time and energy on matters of state, for example the Labour Department and the Industrial Court as they do on the U.P.P., WORKERS would be in a much better off position in this country.
A me say so.
@Audley Dave Joseph (a.k.a. Beef)…. Antiman Beef, why you don’t hush you raw sole!
was this written by JERMAINE EDWARDS?????
Guess them vex dem ah get no Board position or Senate appointment, so they turn into angry bitter bitch mode. No loyalty. Keep away from people like that Miss Knight
The UPP is North Korea, or China under Mao (the really bad old days).
Any reasonable criticism is deflected by accusing victims of institutional oppression who speak out or leave the party of being disloyal, bitter or motivated by personal gain.
This tactic of having a blanket defense/deflection against a mounting number of similar complaints (60 million Frenchmen can’t be wrong) will work only for a time. Oh yes. It WILL work with some of the faithful for a little while.
How sustainable is it for any organization to expect members to tolerate extreme unfairness and disrespect under the penalty that if they speak out they will be accused of “Guess them vex dem ah get no Board position or Senate appointment”?
Can the UPP leadership’s brand of mental abuse and gaslighting work for a time? Sure. Can it work to keep some victims in line? Sure. Maybe even a majority. But the drip drip of decline and rising irrelevance continues. A slow motion car crash, eroding the base and turning off scores of independent voters day by day.
Unfortunately, the votes required to win an election are not sufficient within that grouping of weak minded individuals who will believe almost anything the leadership spews out to cover up their sins and total incompetence. George Walter must be turning in his grave and Baldwin must be deeply displeased, though unable to intervene in his golden years.
Dictatorships, whether they be within nations or newly dictatorial institutions like the UPP, will inevitably fail. Why?
You can bash people all you like. You can come up with all kinds of theories as to why those who flag a pattern of destructive behaviour under Gisele Isaac and Puppet Pringle are actually the ones at fault.
But since the underlying issues which continue to erode the UPP’s capability to “kick out Gaston” will continue, there will only be one result. And it is self inflicted. Pure political Darwinism.
Sadly the UPP is all but politically dead but the faithful don’t know it just yet.
The ordinary supporters who hold out hope are the true victims here. Its a cruel punishment what the UPP leadership is doing to their longsuffering members… presiding over divisiveness, rot and decline while manipulating the weak minded into waltzing on the deck of the titanic.
To those asking about why focus on UPP and not government? Is the goddamned UPP even focusing on government in an effective way?
I had to laugh when I heard Knight’s recording of Franz saying that the people have to take the fight to Gaston because Pringle has his own style: avoiding the media, only sitting aside Juicy Joan, on whatever Mondays he actually attends his own show to address the pathetically small audience of Crusader Radio. Can you imagine?
Oh well. As granny says: what you buy yuh wear!
Whilst I agree that everything in the UPP garden isn’t a bed of roses, especially after the shock and dismay at the loss of the firm favourite the Most Honourable Richard Lewis at the last leadership elections.
However, it just amazes me how so-called UPP supporters like @ UPP agitator love to highlight and go into great lengths to make us look worse than we really are. Why so?
All it does is give more ammunition to the ABLP members and their biased supporters to try and tear us down to help them in their end game of a one-party state. Fact!
There is no political party around the globe that’s perfect – far from it.
So while the ABLP (and the few misguided UPP, sad to say) are making hay while the sun is shining, people like me are just biding our time for when the current government go through a similar situation … and they will.
I CAN’T WAIT!!!
Three cheers for the Stronger Than Ever ✊🏾 party
HIP, HIP … 🟨🟦🟨🟦🟨🟦
@ Keep it Real hoping (and probably more likely praying 🙏🏽) for an ABLP and Gaston Browne one-party state with this damn foolish chitter chatter:
“…Sadly the UPP is all but politically dead …”
In fact, every paragraph was a sensationalist load of nonsense and CODSWALLOP, and more than likely penned by an ABLP party member, a paid-up political SHILL or agitator.
I soooo look forward to taking this out of kilter rabble-rouser to task. Truly wonderful!
I’M BLESSED …
Well said writer
Atlast Brixy boy has amitted that his UPP party is stone stiff dead. It has been dead even before the 2023 elections but the covid fallout just did not pull the plug from their comotose body.
You can now come back over to the labour pary Brixy like everyone else is doing.
@SAFERWITHLABOUR#
@Negus:
You are an ABLP ass licker like toilet paper who is more than likely an editor at ANR that uses several aliases and can insert your comments or reply to anyone directly after their comment. You probably use at least ten or more aliases on this site.
Your @Negus reply to Dave (aka Beef) Joseph is time stamped, after every other comment made prior to yours. You are proof of the crookedness of the ABLP and its hired assassins.
@NEGUS TO BRUTUS ARE ABLP HIRED ASSASSINS…. Hey, you too need to go hush you antiman raw sole. You and you antiman poopa raw sole.
@Negus you seem to enjoy sticking your tongue under peoples ass to collect their shit like a shit tub in a latrine.
@ Negus: You aunty or aunties are not my type boss. Sorry. L.O.L.
