Recently, I was quite impressed with your interview that you had on Observer FM radio, as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Medicinal Cannabis Authority.
In addition, I was also taken back with the Vincentian medical doctor, who was a panelist on Ms Elease St. Romain (an Attorney )TV show, and giving his approval to use cannabis as medicine.
It is evident that the phobia and the stigma of utilizing cannabis, is slowly becoming something of the past. More persons, including myself are beginning to appreciate & welcome the use of cannabis as a medicine, since your organization is now educating the public a lot more.
There is no doubt that you are a prolific speaker and very knowledgeable about the cannabis industry.
Unfortunately, the host of the program on Observer, at the time was not facilitating any questions from the public. As a result, I did not get a chance to ask a question that concerns me.
Now sir, don’t you think that having a registered doctor on site will make these license cannabis outlets more reputable and trustworthy?
Similar to the health clinics, where patients walk in and get their medical attention by seeing a doctor, the same concept can be applied with these license cannabis outlets.
Presently, the nation has many youngsters graduating as doctors. However, some are unable to get a job at the hospital because of the saturation of doctors. Understandable!
Therefore, why not use some of these young doctors who have acquired their medical license, at these outlets as the ” head of the dispensary team & as the go to person “, whenever a customer/ client comes in.
In my view, these doctors will be better equipped to assess a patient/ client, rather than a nurse who has limited medical background.
