Why are you so invested in the UPP?
Antigua is falling apart under your leader. You do not find time to advise him. You do not find time to criticise him. Instead you find all the time in the world to scrutinize, criticise, advise and marginalized the UPP.
Is the UPP bigger or more important than Antigua? No. So why don’t you put blinders on your leader so he can see what’s ahead of him.
Antigua needs direction. Antigua needs leadership.

While I do not subscribe to the treatment metted out to Anthony Smith or anyone in the party and I do not blame him for leaving the party he can and should not receive the forgiveness of anyone in Antigua for going into bed with the enemy and devil.
Less than a year before Anthony Smith jumped ship he called Gaston the devil. He referred to the ALP as the maker of corruption. Tell me the justification other than money that he would sell his soul and jump in bed with Gaston and labour.

I listened to the discussions Saturday on Observer Radio. What did Serpent, Shuggy and Lewis say to be lies. There are too many issues within the UPP.The Leader of the Party needs to get his act together. Be a damn Leader or give it up.
Under Gaston’s administration, Antigua is a broken and lawless country. Murderers get away with murder because the police services us broken, ill equipped , officers are not sufficiently trained to investigate murder cases and to secure convictions.
Too often parent are having to bury their son as a result of gun or knife crime.
Additionally, young people and occasionally adults disappeared without trace, or persons are found dead.
The government offers no emotional or psychological support to grieving families and friends who fell victims of gun or knife crime and missing person.
Murderers and kidnappers continues to roam freely the streets of Antigua and the labourites find in necessary to have a pop at Shuggy for being party of Trinidad carnival.
The labourites should direct their condemnation at Gaston’s administration failures ranging, from: water shortages, murder kidnapping, soaring costs of living etc.
Incidentally, Shuggy is the most hardworking politician, a politician with the utmost integrity.

It is time for people to see the ignorance taking place in the UPP and stop focusing you all attention on Serpent, Shuggy and Lewis. Smith left, Athill left, big man Tabor who we thought would never leave he left. So serpent, shuggy and Lewis concern about the party is not a co incident. All those who left had the same problem and concern. The UPP is running without a leader and some supporters of the UPP not all, fail to see where the problem is. A time like now, the party should be united. The three sitting MPs to include Pringle, have more power than the counterfeit executive. They are the one to decide the fate of the party. They won their seats. If an election call right now, the UPP will loose again. Because, Serpent, Shuggy and Lewis will contest the election in their same Constituency whether on UPP ticket or independent. Their votes will defeat any body who will be running on a UPP ticket while the ABLP votes counting straight. Right thinking people, help the UPP to unite themselves for victory at the pols.
