Dear Hon. Kelvin “Shugy” Simon,
I’ve read your responses, and it’s clear that you’re very vocal in your criticism of Senator Dwayne George. However, as a concerned constituent of St. Mary’s South, I feel it’s important to point out that while you are quick to call out others, you too have fallen short in delivering on many promises and duties. It’s easy to blame others, but let’s take a look at your track record. (MP)
You claim to be building bridges, but what bridges have you actually built for the people of St. Mary’s South? Yes, we’ve heard all about your victories, but where are the tangible results? Small businesses are still struggling, and many are yet to see the support they were promised. Is it not ALSO your responsibility to ensure they get the help they need AS AN ELECTED MP?In the same way you criticize others, should we not expect you to lead by example and provide actionable solutions?
And as for the Bolans Playing Field, yes, it’s disappointing that the project hasn’t moved forward, but your government has been in charge as well. Is it fair to place all the blame on Senator George when you, as part of the system, also failed to deliver the necessary pressure for progress? The children of St. Mary’s South deserve a field to play on, but they also deserve leaders who are ready to act, not just point fingers.
You mention winning with integrity, and that’s admirable, but integrity isn’t just about winning an election—it’s about following through with the people, not just pointing out the flaws of others. People in St. Mary’s South is tired of waiting for action. We need a representative who is consistently fighting for our needs, not just when it’s politically convenient.
You talk about narrow victories, but I ask you, how is it that after winning with so much “integrity,” you’ve failed to make real progress for the community? You’ve had your time, yet things are no better, and in some cases, worse. You’re quick to blame others, but what about your responsibility to your constituents?
Stop hiding behind complaints about Dwayne George and start showing us you’re actually working for us. We don’t need more talk from you both.we need results. Our small businesses need help, our children need a playing field, and we need action, not just words.
So, Hon. Simon, while it’s easy to call out Senator George, it’s time to look inward and ask: What have you done for the people of St. Mary’s South since your win? The silence from your office is just as deafening as the one you accuse others of. We need you to step up and deliver, not just offer words or criticism.
Keep working for the people of SMS.
I hope you take this as constructive feedback and that it inspires real action for our community.
Sincerely,
A Concerned Constituent of St. Mary’s South

The biggest question Shugy needs to answer is this:
Where are the millions of rich investor/donor dollars you promised would come for constituency projects once you were re-elected?
Nobody put a gun to Shugy’s head to promise constituents that he had lined up wealthy investors who were loyal to him… and just waiting for the by election victory to empower his community development agenda.
Politicians are something else.
Patience! Remember the investors are just waiting to come ashore once he wins! Maybe they’re still swimming or waiting on Wadadli Cats to bring them ashore
where is shugy WIFE???
@Integrity Step #1
Where is Gaston’s wedding band? Did his Spanglish Paramour and Kip Oman from Pointe demand that he stop wearing it or she’ll spill the spanish jumping beans?
The GOAT mowing down Maria’s front lawn has been seen feeding at nights too. That must be some sweet grass growing on that fresh top soil.
Your ignorance is beyond comprehension that’s why politicians like shuggy can continue to fooled his blind followers. Every thing isn’t about dumb ass political ignorance.
As a political representative in opposition it is difficult to get things done, even if you approach government agencies they will intentionally sabotage your efforts to render you ineffective. Sometimes business people will make promises when you are in opposition but once your party loses the usually have a change of heart, if the people criticizing Shuggy do not understand that you all are nothing but political novices or is it just making excuses for that wind bag, pompous, Gaston Browne wannabe Dwayne George
