LETTER: Pringle, Lewis, Bowen & Walker did a great job during the budget speech

MPs Watts and Simon

Dear Editor,

Several days ago, I had an enjoyable moment of my life watching the parliamentary debate.

First, I will admit that it was a great disappointment to see how the debate concluded prematurely but nevertheless in my view it was entertaining.

Clearly both sides were very resolute & adamant as to what they intended to do. From the arguments I heard, I believe both sides ( Govt & Opposition ) dropped the ball.

It was not clear as to why the opposition MP’s excluding the Hon Richard Lewis returned from lunch late and all at the same time.

As the speaker asked was it a planned action or was it a mere coincidence? Niether was it clear whether or not that there was a mutual understanding that the deliveries would be alternated.

Be that as it was, the four opposition MP’s, Pringle, Lewis & Bowen along with Trevor Walker did a great job to convince the speaker of  parliament that the debate cannot conclude prematurely without hearing the deliveries from the Gov’t MP’s. They really must be commended.

On one hand I was certainly impress with the manner the opposition MP’s supported each other. When one sat whether by will or force of the speaker, the other got up.

Hence, the speaker had a task at hand to deal with, and simultaneously, the Prime minister certainly could not prove enough that he was a force to reckon with.

Serpent & Shuggy on the other hand, in my view should have join the fight. It was certainly distasteful to see that they sat there quiet as a mouse and had nothing at all to say but later on Mr. Knight’s show their mouths were loud as ever…. Solidarity always produce strength and certainly what was done by the four opposition MP’s was quite impressive. It would a moment that would not be forgotten.

Alex

  1. Obviously, there was a misunderstanding on both sides of the parliamentary divide…. However, the Opposition members should really be commended. They stood in solidarity with each other leaving the PM at a total lost

  2. The members of the RUDE BOY STAND are useless 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

  3. ..and Alex, you wrote a good Joke. How can it be a GOOD JOB when their end game wasn’t realized? All their bluster and pomp ended with a whimper…resulting with supplementary bills being tabled…American Filibuster-Walker—Who forgot (well dot forgot, but purposely left his notes at home…then proceeded to ask The Speaker for time to go and retrieve) his notes..REALLY???

So Alex my boy…Weel’ and com’ agen!

  4. Watts is a dunce from long time. His claim to fame is debt collecting and his big mouth. As born Antiguan I am ashamed of the dunce we have collected on the opposition side. My colleagues from Barbados laugh at how they speak.

  5. ” and simultaneously, the Prime minister certainly could not prove enough that he was a force to reckon with. ”

    Alex, what are you smoking?

The PM yielded to these losers on 5 occasions and they REFUSED TO SPEAK.

Had he acted like “a force to reckon with” there would be a cries about that too. Just can’t win with some of you people.

I commend the PM for his reasonableness in yielding so often, which exposed the true motives of the cowardly Opposition MPs who had no intention to speak. They welcomed this engineered standoff. Clearly there was nothing of worth they had to say. Nothing serious or substantive. Nothing important enough to tell the nation.

  6. Alex: It must have been difficult to write this letter while Pringle had his cock in your mouth and Lewis, Bowen and Walker were filling your arsehole.
