I was a twice ABLP Voter in the last election but in this upcoming election I will not be voting ABLP at all. Simple for 1 and only reason. All Saints Road has been destroying my vehicle for over 10 years.
I don’t know what the Honourable Maria Browne is doing daily, but that main road should be condemned the entire stretch from town to English Habor. Every day everyone vehicles go through bare torture and abuse from that road to the point where even pickup truck are even creeping to traverse that abusive wicked main road.
This must be a plot to destroy people vehicles while the PM and his wife drives their white brand new Ford Ranger Raptor which can take the road better while the rest of us tax paying public catches hell driving on that abusive main road.
People like Eli Fuller only highlights Friars Hill Road or the road at the back of Jennings which the top 1% uses in our society but he himself would not highlight All Saints Road because most of the less fortunate uses that road and he himself has a Ford pickup which he uses to take his children to school daily so he doesn’t care or see fit to highlight that said main road because the Elites doesn’t use it.
The crappy patching PWD has been doing all over but deliberately refusing to patch All Saints Road or even smooth it out can’t work Hon Maria Browne and PM Gaston Browne. TALL Saints Road needs to resurface ASAP and we the tax paying public deserves it, most of us who livs in the east has to use that road to get to and from work daily and school pickups.
The bus men and taxi men are a burning shame in this country, even if you are a ABLP support right is right wrong is wrong, the abuse of our vehicle is beyond ridiculous and abusive. The PM and Hon Maria Browne and has not given the public duty free on parts and Abst off parts.
Everyone in this country cannot afford a pickup truck. Like myself for example and others they these wicked new car dealership Harney and Hadeed are charging 150k-200k for new pickup trucks which is out of pocket for most people in this country.
All Saints Main Road has to be the worst main artery road on island along with many other village roads especially Herbert’s main road, factory Road among many other too numerous to mention. The government don’t even say they are going to take duty and ABSt off pick up trucks because its an agenda they have
Where are our tax dollars going? Is it enrichment or squandering?

I fully agree with this article. Absolute rubbish is what All Saints road is. Vehicles are dodging potholes at every turn and that is higher risk for accidents. Meanwhile roads in Villa and Point are better taken care of. What r we supposed to do? Move to Villa to get proper roads? Now they taking about roads in Barbuda. How many vilages have to depend on All Saints road to get to town?

Everything that is used on a regular touches our budget in whatever way, transportation is apart of our daily use for everyone and the bare fact you have to dip in your pocket every month or even in a shorter time, hampers your ability to feel satisfied for owning a vehicle without such reoccurring issues. I agree with the article. Its very scaring driving on All saints rd. Qhwn deiving u have to be swerving out of potholes n bumps ..i work in the hotel industry, and i heard alot of guest saying that they cant drive on these roads bcause its the worse they ever seen with hole n bumps , and with no side walks. Its really crazy n yet still we paying taxes to maintain this country.
Truth to fact. All that is needed is to skim shave the road bed, and put a new coat of aggrigate asphalt or what is called “Barba-green” and making way for drainage and off-ramp-shoulders. I mean, this is a major roadway leading from one of Antigua’s most desirable destination of St. Paul’s to the Capital, which have been neglected for far too long; by the myopic governance of convenient ineptitude.

It seems like the road could remain in that condition if we were all able to purchase pickup trucks. The trucks suffer the same abuse and worst yet, the parts are generally more expensive so every vehicle owner is at a disadvantage here and moreso, those that are owned by the state.
Maria Browne drives on that road often, they don’t care about yall. Fig Tree Drive, Bethesda, road to half moon, Matthew’s road, st anns road, green acres road, body pond road, the roads close to KFC Buckley line, Montrula…. why doesn’t she drive around take pictures get these road fixed
