Mary Statue vs Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream Statue

Let me be clear from the start. I am only mentioning Mother Mary as an example to open people’s eyes and help them realize that statues aren’t always a bad thing.

Many of these items are simply part of people’s traditions and beliefs, and traditions should be respected for what they are. Not everyone can believe the same thing, and not everyone wants the same thing. CLICK HERE TO JOIN OUR WHAT’S APP GROUP

In the Bible, there were Jews and Gentiles, yet they all served one God. So let us stop dividing ourselves and creating unnecessary controversy in our nation.

Let me be clear again. I am not saying that Mother Mary statues should come down. What I am saying is that we must allow people’s beliefs to stand as they are.

We should not view Nebuchadnezzar’s dream or anyone’s interpretation of it as something negative. Everyone has the right to choose what they believe and where they invest their time, energy, and money. CLICK HERE TO JOIN OUR WHAT’S APP GROUP

No one tells another person how to spend their money, how to worship, or whom to worship. This is 2025, and we should expect a higher level of understanding and maturity.

The Bible teaches that prophecy must be fulfilled, so let it fulfill itself. Stop fighting one another.

Churches uniting to fight against other churches.

How does that sound? Is that what Christ taught? Are division and condemnation part of a church’s fundamental beliefs? We need to take a serious look at what is really happening among the churches in Antigua.

Instead of rivalry and division, we should focus on prayer, supplication, and fasting. Those are the true tools of change.

“Lowe dah people dem statue.” Personally, I do not believe anyone is worshipping it.

Many of these things are simply part of culture, heritage, and long-standing customs.

Let people believe what they want. Christ never forced or demanded that people worship Him.

He evangelized with love, not destruction and division.

And let us be honest.

There are many Satanic worship activities and practices around us, yet we rarely talk about them. Yet we focus energy on trying to take down a scriptural-based statue.

Please, let us get our act together and show some religious maturity.

Let us focus on unity, not conflict. Let us fix our eyes on God, not on each other’s differences. Antigua is too small for division. Let love, wisdom, and peace guide us instead.

Which of these statues should go down? NONE.

  1. Let’s be clear…and honest. You only mentioned the statue of the Virgiin Mary because you are literally the DEVIL’S ADVOCATE, another of our learned jackasses openly earning its keep!

  2. Well said, Peetron.
We all have different beliefs and are entitled to them.
The new one that people are arguing about isn’t spreading hatred, so why are they worried about it?

  3. The Dream of Nebuchadnezzar’s Statue

    Found in: Daniel 2

King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon had a troubling dream he couldn’t remember or understand. God revealed the dream and its meaning to Daniel, showing not only what the king dreamed but also its prophetic significance for the future of world empires.

🗿 The Statue in the Dream

    Nebuchadnezzar saw a great statue:

    Head of Gold

    Chest and Arms of Silver

    Belly and Thighs of Bronze

    Legs of Iron

Feet partly of Iron and partly of Clay

Then, a stone “cut without hands” struck the statue on its feet and destroyed it completely. The stone became a great mountain that filled the whole earth.

    🌍 The Interpretation (Daniel 2:36–45)

Daniel explained that the statue represented a timeline of world kingdoms, starting with Babylon and extending until God’s eternal kingdom.

Part of Statue Metal Kingdom Meaning

Head Gold Babylon (Nebuchadnezzar) The golden empire known for its splendor and power (605–539 B.C.)
Chest & Arms Silver Medo-Persia Inferior to Babylon but larger; a dual kingdom (539–331 B.C.)
Belly & Thighs Bronze Greece (Alexander the Great) Swift and strong; spread Greek culture (331–168 B.C.)
Legs Iron Rome Crushing power and military might (168 B.C.–476 A.D.)
Feet Iron & Clay Divided Kingdoms of Europe The remnants of the Roman Empire—strong and weak nations mixed together (476 A.D.–present)

The stone cut without hands represents God’s Kingdom, established by Jesus Christ, which will destroy all human kingdoms and last forever.

    ✨ Why It’s So Important

    1. Prophetic Accuracy:
It’s one of the most detailed prophecies in the Bible. Every kingdom predicted came exactly as Daniel said, proving God’s sovereignty over history.

    2. Reveals God’s Plan:
The dream shows that human empires rise and fall, but God’s Kingdom is eternal. No political power will last forever.

    3. Jesus’ Kingdom Foretold:
The “stone cut without hands” points to Christ, who will return to destroy earthly kingdoms and establish God’s everlasting reign.

    4. Faith-Strengthening:
It proves that God is in control, even when nations seem unstable. History follows His plan, not man’s.

    5. End-Time Significance:
We are currently in the “feet” phase — the divided nations. This means the next great event in prophecy is the coming of God’s Kingdom.
