Dear editor,
Please give me a little space to share my two cents on why Michael Freeland is the best choice to improve St. George and defeat the serpent next election.
Over the last three weeks I have fallen in love with Michael Freeland. But his woman doesn’t have to worry. I only love him like a proud mother. He is really Adolphus Freeland pickney.
I’ve listened to his interviews and I like what I hear, both his plans for St George and how clear he talks.
Every other day on Facebook I saw him sharing what he will do, his community projects or messages of support from voters and I had to ask my sister if its a general election campaign Freeland is running.
I also read his manifesto which was the first one out and the best of the two out so far which means he really have a vision for the constituency.
All but two of my friends in Potters say he is the one so I’m guessing it’s the same in Pigotts and Scotts Hill and everywhere else. Some of them even registered with Joel or Bakisha then switched to Michael after. If its one thing about him he goes to every house and reasons with everyone but he has always been like that, which is what we want.
One thing that surprised me was how many villagers who say they are independent or hate politics support Michael. Thats more votes for labour next election once we make the right choice. Even some of my blue friends rate him.
Now the primary is here on Tuesday. All four candidates are good people but for me and the nine votes in my family Freeland is the only choice. We need the strongest candidate so we can finally see the back of the serpent.
So if you havent decided to vote for Freeland as yet ask yourself just one question.
Which of the candidates really looks like they are ready to win St. George back for ABLP?
When you see people on both sides or no side at all love a candidate, that is a recipe for victory. Michael has that and his plans will really make the place better for everybody. Its obvious he has support from young and old, man and woman grassroot, stush people and everyone else. That is what you want in a candidate and a MP.
So on March 18 let’s vote Michael Freeland then we will win back St George next election. Thank you for reading and see you at Potters School tomorrow.

I will always remember you way back in 1996 and how you looked out for me and others as strangers in this land and how you supported us like a brother and family. All of the candidates should be vetted at a Town Hall Meeting , a full biopsychosocial revelation they must come clean to the people we want to have a full investigation into all their doings so when he or she is elected the are no surprises so often they are kicked out for no public reason they are no longer active in politics so let’s get the truth about them if they have skeletons UPP is going to find them and embass them later so let them come clean to the people

I live in the powells area, I have 2 daughters and we can’t drive In to the playing field because the crickets claim that they are the owners so they lock the gate .. I also had a discussion with the young lady before she locked the gate and I told her that my daughters come for recreation cause we don’t have anything to do. I look at young women dying we must are about each other she replied what that, that have to do with me.. Mr freeland, I like you as a person.. please make this RIGHT !!
