Harold Lovell: The Leader All Saints West Deserves

All Saints West is ready for change; the kind of change that restores trust, delivers results, and puts the people first. After years of disappointment and leaders who served their own interests, the constituency is looking ahead with hope. That hope has a name: Harold Lovell.

A resident and proud member of the All Saints West community, Harold Lovell knows its roads, its neighborhoods, and its people. He understands its challenges because he lives them alongside everyone else. This is not a man who only appears during an election; this is a leader who has been present, listening, and working for the betterment of Antigua and Barbuda his entire career.

Lovell’s decades of public service speak for themselves. As Minister of Finance, he guided the country through difficult economic times, ensuring stability while creating opportunities for growth. As Minister of Foreign Affairs, he represented Antigua and Barbuda with distinction on the world stage, building relationships that benefited the nation. His earlier years as a teacher, lawyer, and union activist reflect a life dedicated to service in every form.

But beyond titles and accomplishments, Harold Lovell brings something rare in politics: trustworthiness. In a constituency that has endured betrayal from past candidates, the people now seek a leader who is steady, capable, and true to his word. Harold Lovell stands by the people, for the people, and with the people. He is the standard. He is the bar set high above the rest.

He knows All Saints West needs more than promises. Clean water, reliable infrastructure, better roads, stronger community programs, and opportunities for young people are not talking points. They are urgent priorities. Lovell has the experience to turn these needs into action, and the track record to prove he can deliver.

Harold Lovell is a unifier. He has shown that he can bring people together, bridge divides, and focus on solutions that work for everyone. His leadership is not about self-service; it is about service to the community he calls home.

For All Saints West, this election is more than a political contest; it is a chance to choose a leader who will listen, act, and remain faithful to the people’s trust. Harold Lovell is ready to lead. Harold Lovell can not only win All Saints West. He will win All Saints West. And together, standing by the people, for the people, and with the people, victory is within reach.

  1. Couldn’t say it better @ writer…. anyone who says different obviously feels he’s a threat ….

  2. Fantastic news!!! I’m dancing and rejoicing with glee. Let’s raise a glass to the Most Honourable Harold Lovell.

    Cheers 🥂

  3. This is comedy central. All this will do is create more confusion in the quickly deteriorating UPP. Pringle gets pushed out and Lovell, the person that holds the record for the most election losses in Antigua, regains the crown. And what about Richard Lewis? Are his dreams of leadership now over? UPP bringing back a man in his 70s, while the ABLP plans ahead with young, dynamic candidates. What a joke.

  4. Lamin, the boy George and Anthony will lose. And serpent might win too. Other than that, Labour will win the rest

  5. @Brixtonian
Please save your dancing and rejoicing until after the elections when the fat lady sings. Welcome to the game of chess.

  6. Dave Ray your rass go see the game of chess when you return to NYC from all the people you beg money and owe. Nobody will help you so rest assured pay up .By the way remember August 28th is your lock up anniversary.

  7. Am trying to overstand this, a man with the biggest loosing record of anyones political career returns to politics after his retirement decision and for some reason according to what am reading this is all the UPP was waiting for to return as leaders of this country once again.Often mentioned and highly believed by some is Mr Lovell was robbed the last time, question was he robbed all the other time he lost?
This is the great Messiah or according to some “John de Baptist” running to win one and only one seat in the next election, this is the savior that the heavily political believers of this party long and thirst for to lead them to the promise land. People this is not America where you vote for one man or woman as President, it takes the highest number of seats won, so even if Lovell wins and Dear Lord he better win, are you positive that the other seats are in the bag?
I noticed the water and bad road talks, which was the two big topics for years kind a calm down a bit and from the look we got from the just concluded carnival people aren’t doing that bad, so the only thing that the diehard kept coming with is corruption by the ABLP.
People weather it’s ABLP or UPP the word corruption will always be relevant, it’s all part of politics so if you’re this nieve to believe that we have these true righteous, only love of country, real patriot politicians out there, stop dreaming and to be real corruption is looked upon quite differently by the regular man and woman on the street, who cares more about their daily living.

  8. Amused by the goings-on at Comedy Central!😁😁😁 To think that ALL of UPP’s hopes are now hinged on this FAILED politician 💯, judging not only from his election record but also from his history while in office, leaves one with the inescapable conclusion that the Useless Pitiful Party had indeed hit rock bottom. At least, for the time being, they think they have a road march tune. ….until the iron band gets fed-up and the discordant voices silenced. Now, over to the asinine bunch at Comedy Central.

  9. Hey! Hey! Hey!
    Get it right.
Harold Lovell is not just the man for All Saints West.
    He is bigger than that.
    He is greater than that.
He is the man Antigua needs.
He is the man to rescue Antigua from the abyss that Gaston Browne has plunged it into.
However, he has to be more than just the ordinary representative for All Saints West.
He has to immediately take over the party.
He has to bring leadership, direction and focus to the party for any good to happen to the party and Antigua.
I have called on Pringle to do the Barbara Coates.
To do what’s in the best interest of the party and Antigua.
Pringle, please step aside quietly and come to the media just like Barbara did.
Tell the world that your actions are in the best interest of the party and Antigua.
The sentiments that have been expressed since the announcement of the return of Lovell are not just for him to be a candidate.
The people love their party and want to rescue what’s left from the damage you and Gaston have done to it.
So with all that is in me, I beg you to humbly step aside.
    Let the party breathe
Give the party a chance to redeem Antigua.
You do not have the L in leadership.
Stop taking foolish advice from the geriatrics.
With Lovell’s return the timing is perfect for you to enroll at UWI
If you belive that you are the best thing for the party, give up your sure seat and go to Rural North.
This is my final advice to you.
    Step aside!!!!!

  10. Carvaa, Madame Dave Ray and the #1 Ass Kisser Faithful National #1, when are you 3 idiots going to get it in your heads that Hon. Harold Lovell was cheated in the last 2 elections, it was actually said by your leader people were transferred from strong constituencies to weaker ones, City East was one of those constituencies and you all just scraped through, are you telling me that you do not believe your own leader
