Nice damn try by the writer to denigrate the Most Honourable Kelvin Shugy Simon by saying:

Has the writer forgotten that the ABLP have been governing for almost 12 years now? There’s only so much the UPP can do whilst the government control the treasury purse strings.

And I’m glad the writer has mentioned the ABLP’s Dwane George, because using the same argument, shouldn’t George – who has more access to treasury finances than Shugy – have achieved 2-3 times more for his constituents and country atlarge?

Isn’t time that the ABLP supporters place the blame where it squarely lies?

Based on my analysis, Senator Dwayne George will lose. His government is in power and nothing substantial is occurring in the Parish or his own village. The opposition, MP Simon’s, main focus is to advocate for the people and to highlight errors. He should even take some of these opportunities to put forward his own ideas, to show competence and innovation. What would add icing on the cake, if you love icing on your cake or in my case, what would add extra salt-fish to my chap-up (with bread), is if the MP Simon, opposition, is able to make substantial difference while in opposition, while having less access to resources, but is still able to implement a community watch (that actually works), provide the schools with security systems, computers and other technology, provide after school programs with teachers, increase the amount of small businesses in the community, have a monthly or yearly community small business fair that involves show casing the work of great community contributors (teacher Cavelle, Mr. Williams (Pacer), Teacher Mrs. Henry (teacher baby Rose), Peters (tennis star) have sporting events regularly to build talent and to keep our youths distracted from criminality, set up community singles gather (this is just for me to find a wife ha ha, I had to through a joke in), but seriously, there should be lasting endeavourd implements that majority (if not all) always remember you (encouraging the government and private entities, mainly the government, to sell shares, bonds and other securities to locals).

Look into developing a program to keep our aged population occupied, active and happy, to give family members a break that they have no choice but to remember you and support you.

Pushing for local teams at every game to sell merchandise for players, autographed/signed, encourage local hotels to have local night to celebrate local cricket, basketball, teachers, and tennis stars.

Giving these players merchandise for their team in which they are charged with selling and pushing their brand. You are not allowed to sell at our beaches or tourism spot without having at least a few merchandise of local sport stars, the stars can be international or national or local.

But let us start somewhere to make our own big. Each teach should have their own free YouTube channel, with some attempt to record and upload each and every game. We can do this, it is not as hard as people think to morally and legally turn $0 into substantial funds, millions of dollars possibly.

Which of these leaders will follow my guidance to make the community substantially better and to provide better hope? Who will be innovative and disciplined to stay on this path?

Who will have local culture days and nights for people to play marbles (hole and angle)? Who will bring back softball cricket? Who will provide treats on independence day? Who will encourage the government to returned fireworks on November 9 (Burn fire night)? Who will see that we must try to bring back our culture but with safety in an attempt to get back that closeness, peace and safety we once had?

Who will focus more on the substance on what I am saying instead of their hatred for people who say their party is wrong when they clearly are?

This is so true. I am also a UPP supporter and it’s distasteful to see that shuggy is nowhere to be found after election. Where is the branch office so we can sit and speak to our mp? This is so draining and we the UPP supporters need to stop being biased

Your ideas make a lot of sense but it would require a substantial amount of finance. The money people seem to mostly support the government representatives because they are always looking for kickbacks. Opposition Reps are at a big disadvantage

@Man From West Palm Beach Bolans, thank you. I meant to say all local sports teach must have a YouTube travel (should be required) and an attempt to record and upload each game.

A lot of the ideas I highlighted cost nothing much. Each player is issued extra fan shirts and charged with selling them (percentage of sale to the player and other, to the team). 2 shirts or socks per player to sell to fans. Encourage supporters to wear their favorite player’s jersey at games.

Let us just celebrate each other and market the games at local hotels as events tourist/visitors can watch.

The ministry of tourism spent $0 on this area. I estimate it is possible to bring in $100,000usd at minimum to local sports if the minimum amount of marketing is put into it, at local hotels. You will be shocked on how often visitors are interested in jersey collection, worldwide.

I would love to watch a game of marbles, I have only fund memories of those moments, with the passion and skills of local youths and even adults playing. I love it.

I am interested on being the owner of Bolans Soccer/football team and SAP football/soccer team. We will make these teams make money for players, staff and their village.

My first investment would be $250,000.00, if I can get these basic things done with disciplined and professional players.

I hate to say it, but the difference is clear. Mr. George is visible, engaged, and getting things done, regardless of him being the elected MP. Meanwhile, I’ve seen little to nothing from Mr. Simon, despite the promises he made. I gave him a chance, but so far, he hasn’t proven he was the right choice.
