Police have now charged 32yr-old Leon Hawkins Jr. Of Yorks with the murder of his brother, Kareem Santiago also of Yorks.
Leon is expected to appear before the Court on Tuesday 17th March.
It is alleged both brothers got into an altercation over a domestic issue on the morning of March 13th.
The accused allegedly armed himself with a sharp instrument, which he used to wound his brother.
He was transported to Mount St. Johns Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead by a medical doctor.

I hope that he is being checked properly for COVID-19 before putting him at Her Majesty Prison. We need another facility to house all remanded persons. Prison should be for all convicted persons.
My God now the prisoners are complaining they can’t have visitors and relatives can’t bring in meals!!! What the hell is going on. When are these inmates going to realize that prison is supposed to be the closest thing to hell on earth that there is. This is no hotel resort. Some of them are killers, pedophiles, thiefs etc. The idea o imprisonment is that it’s supposed to be so horrible that NOBODY will EVER want to come back. Eat what is set before you and stop being cry babies. The people are paying for your “stay” in 1735 and it shouldn’t be desirable in any way.
There are a lot of people who are in 1735 prison on remanded waiting for their cases to heard in court. Most time some of these people are innocent. Prison is a rehabilitation facility not a hotel or a hell hole.
