The Authority wishes to inform the general public that the National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) is the agency mandated by law to collect, transport, and dispose of solid waste in Antigua and Barbuda.
Due to the inclement weather, we are updating the residents in the community below of the schedule receiving an unavoidably late start.
We are however working to resolve the issue promptly.

Here dis excuse yah!
Wait, is it only the affluent residents of Crosbies who are owed an explanation when their garbage is not picked up? Sometimes, my garbage goes uncollected for 2 – 3 weeks while the village dogs scatter the contents over every square inch of the village. It is commonplace for the bagged grass and shrubs remain on the corners for months (literally) while the NSWMA ignores them. I have never seen a published notice addressing the matter. Happy for the residents of Crosbies. Lucky them
Well how about you store the garbage properly so the village dogs don’t get into it?
