Suspect in Police Custody for Building Breaking and Larceny
St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Monday, December 8, 2025
Police have arrested Koeci Francis of Swetes, following a building breaking and larceny at the Oriental Choice Supermarket located on Lower All Saints Road.
Around 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, police officers responded to a report of a breaking in progress, which had triggered the supermarket’s security alarm.
Upon arrival at the scene, police met Francis inside the building with a bag containing a quantity of groceries, a cellphone, and an undisclosed sum of money.
The items were seized and Francis was taken into custody at the St. John’s Police Station for further investigation. Investigations into the incident remain ongoing.
The Police Administration continues to urge the public to report suspicious activities by contacting the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or Crimestoppers at 800-TIPS (8477).
