The Knight Riders defeated table-topping Falcons by eight wickets in Tarouba on Wednesday, ending their losing run in the head-to-head series.
Sent in to bat, the Falcons collapsed early as Mohammad Amir dismissed Rahkeem Cornwall and Karima Gore in the opening over. Jewel Andrew’s 40 and a late stand between Imad Wasim (37*) and Usama Mir (34) helped them post 146-7.
Alex Hales (55*) and Keacy Carty (60) shared an 87-run partnership to guide the hosts’ chase, with captain Nicholas Pooran sealing victory with a six.
The win lifts the Knight Riders to second in the standings, just behind the Falcons.

Jimbo needs a rest.
For the Falcons, this defeat is less about one bad night and more about the need to strengthen their batting beyond the top three if they want to remain serious title contenders.
This was Knight Riders’ most complete performance all season, bowlers dominated, batsmen finished. Statement win.
