Trinidad Dance Hall Artist Kman-6ixx Denied Entry into Antigua: Organizers Appeal for Understanding

Trinidadian dance hall artist Kman-6ixx, whose real name is Kashif Alexander Sankar, was denied entry into Antigua by immigration officials due to national security concerns.

This decision comes despite multiple efforts to bring him to the island in time for his scheduled performance.

Kman-6ixx was set to perform at the Fat Boy Coconut Water Production, an event scheduled for tonight at 10 PM at SPLASH ANTIGUA.

The organizers had worked tirelessly to ensure his appearance, but were met with an unexpected barrier at the immigration checkpoint.

In light of the situation, the event organizers have issued a public appeal for understanding.

They expressed their deep regret over the disruption and reassured attendees that they had exhausted all possible avenues to resolve the issue.

Despite the setback, the event will proceed with performances from renowned Jamaican artists Chronic Law and Najeerii, who are on the island and ready to entertain the crowd.

  9. Kashif Alexander Sankar better known as Kman-Gixx is considered a national security risk where ever he goes . I remember reading in the Trinidad Guardian back in February of this year where he was charged with being a gang member as well as other gang related activities. He was also charged with possession of amunition.
    Following a performance in Barbados in February 2024 and moments after landing at the airport in Trinidad, he was involved in a shootout where 3 of his friends got killed though he himself was unharmed.. A female bystander was also killed by stray bullet. The entertainer was just banned from entering St.Kitts/Nevis as well.
    This brings me to a very serious point. Promoters must he more vigilant, guarded and careful of the caliber, quality and character of artists that they invite to perform in Antigua and Barbuda Some of the artists are pure demons and they invite terror, anxiety, horror and shock into our country and should not set foot on Antigua and Barbuda at any cost. I commend the immigration department for their action.

It’s all about the money and just like the spike in crime prior to carnival, we are now seeing another spike and this will be the trend since the population of which I spoke even though huge fans of these artists must have the deep pocket to attend and full joy themselves.

Banning this artist from performing whether it’s in Antigua, St. Kitts or any other island in the Caribbean will do nada, zilch, nothing to stop the rising gun culture, the rise in violent behavior, or the rise in overall from armed robberies to murders to gang initiations and indoctrinations. Period.
    It’s already in the mind, heart, spirit, soul of the culture.
    If banning these artiste which are sponsored, marketed, and promoted by big businesses (white collar criminals) was working to stymie the unruly behaviour which the culture is swimming in, then why not ban surfing on the internet, video games sales etc because these are the real issues which are as much of a threat to National Security as one genre of music.

  22. I went on utube to look up the music of this person and after listening to a few of his songs and seeing his involvement in the six gang in Trinidad and the kind of music he sing about gun and violence, the immigration made the right call.

    My question is why did they not also declare the other artist chronix-law persona non grata? Some of his sons are just as violent and degrading to women. Sadly that is the kind of music the young folks are into these days

  23. Is this even enough? We need to start denying entry to all those countries that deny entry to us. It’s great that we are finally starting to gain control over the flow of degenerates into our country however (not saying all immigrants are like this, nearly all aren’t).

  28. @RAS SMOOD – Fighting crime requires a holistic approach. Yes, it is true by banning his entry you will not solve all the criminal activities. But the government has to use all avenues and show that they are serious about fight crimes.

    You might suspect that your child is watching adult movies but it worse if you the parent sits there and watch said movies with him/her. So yes, the youth may find songs on youtube, but we do not need to give the stamp of approval to his songs by allowing him here. It is a big difference.
