Antigua and Barbuda’s Kia Kirwan finished first runner-up at the Miss OECS 2026 pageant on Friday night in Dominica.
Kirwan, the reigning Carnival Queen, won Miss Amity and captured Best in Swimwear and Best in Evening Wear. Miss Dominica Tanisha Balson claimed the title after a dominant showing, winning Best Creative National Wear, Best Performing Talent and Best Evening Wear.
Miss Anguilla Ariel Bushay placed second runner-up and earned Best Promotional Video, Best Swimwear and Best Response to Question.
Kirwan’s pageant résumé includes Queen of Carnival 2025 in Antigua and Barbuda, a Best Swimwear award and top-five finish at the 2025 Miss Caribbean Culture Queen Pageant, first runner-up at the 2025 Essence and Mind International Swimsuit Pageant, and the Miss Antigua and Barbuda Labour Queen title in 2016.
The competition featured contestants from across the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States, including Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the British Virgin Islands.
