Kevin Fredrick Charged with Murder in Fatal Stabbing Incident
St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Saturday, 28 February 2026
The police have arrested and formally charged 57-year-old Kevin Frederick of George Street, Green Bay in connection with the fatal stabbing of 44-year-old Dalton Cornwall of Jennings.
Frederick was charged with Murder following investigations into the incident, which occurred on Wednesday, 25 February, on Valley Road.
Cornwall sustained a puncture wound during the incident and was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center for medical treatment. However, efforts to save his life were futile. He later succumbed to his injury.
The accused is expected to appear before the Magistrate’s Court at the earliest opportunity. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.

The Police Administration once again extends sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Dalton Cornwall during this difficult time.

Everyone knows he have a mental health issue he don’t interfere with people .so juju bee don’t say that.yes we agree someone dies the law will deal with and god will deal with all of us because alot of us are criminals and nobody knows. so sad someone loss their lives. God is good but he is a mental case
You said thst he does nit interfere with people, are you saying then that he was provoked? He still has to pay for his crime.
This guy have mental issues,sometimes he was vociferous with people how harass him,all the times well dressed, sometimes he talking incoherently but (if you don’t provoking) he behave well all the time. Sad this situation escalated and one going jail and another human being lost his life.
There are too many mental cases walking freely in Antigua. Sure they may seem harmless but all it takes is one thing to trigger them and all hell breaks loose. They are a danger to the public because of Thier instability and volatile behaviours. It is not enough to say because they are not mentally competent that they should be tested with leniency. What about the people they injured and kill. It is time to stop thinking that imprisonment ps for rehabilitation. We must remove these people from society and put them where they no longer pose a threat to the public. Otherwise allow the public to defend themselves and even kill themselves people when they act like this. If we cannot institutionalise them or control them thenaybe eliminating them is the best option. I wouldn’t accept it if they killed a member of my family. Id want revenge

putting a crazy nan is prison is not addressing the issue. the man was out there being aggressive and no one did anything. the policy makers should be jailed

When I was in Antigua many years ago I lived in Green Bay and this man was known to be mentally ill. He used to come out at night, howl at the moon, walk up and down and speak incoherently. His condition declined rapidly just before I left so I can’t even imagine how bad he got. It’s not surprising to see that he committed this crime. The law was aware of his condition as numerous reports were made against him but they were never taken seriously. I hope that he can be treated fairly and put in a mental institution where they can treat his illness. He should not be introduced into society again unless he has undergone treatment and many months of observation to ensure that something like this doesn’t happen again.
I’ve known this man my entire life and even bed the decline he never troubled a soul… always loving , always giving always kind. The back story should be published but then again dead man tells no tails and he can’t defend himself due to state of mind. I do hope that he is tried fairly or is given the help that he requires.
