
Kerry Oliver, accused of shooting Jeff Richards in Pigotts on June 2, has been remanded.
He faces charges including grievous bodily harm, using a firearm, and unlawful possession of a .45 caliber pistol and ammunition.
Richards, who was later imprisoned on a separate wounding charge, died in custody on July 15.
Oliver appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel in All Saints Magistrates Court and is scheduled to return on October 23.
