Kariba Gore Selected to West Indies T20 Squad

Rising cricket talent Karima Gore has earned his first call-up to the West Indies T20 squad for the upcoming series against Nepal in Dubai, a milestone that has brought pride to the Liberta and St Paul’s community.

Gore’s selection continues a long tradition of cricketing excellence from Liberta, a village that has produced some of the region’s most celebrated players, including Eldine Baptiste, Kenneth Benjamin, Hayden Walsh II and Rakeem Cornwall.

Parliamentary Representative for St Paul, Hon. E.P. Chet Greene, praised the achievement, calling it “a tremendous source of joy and pride” for the community. He also recognised the contributions of Ricky Christopher, who represented at the youth level and remains part of Liberta’s cricketing legacy.

The Liberta Sports Club, Gore’s family, and the wider village have joined in celebrating the news, which they say reflects both his talent and dedication.

Gore will travel with the squad to Dubai as the West Indies prepare for their series against Nepal.
