Soooo wait dey…..She was lef di yard again?? Either something is not right at her home, she going through a rebellious phase or she is involved with an older male…. could be a mixture of all three…
Again…tarl man…something a gwarn a she yard the authorities need to look into
Yeah, social services, competent ones need to be involved in this matter. Do not enter into the investigation assuming the child is just deviant and unruly. Also, do not assume similar thoughts about the parents. Investigate in a fair to ascertain the problems here. Then provide an appropriate solution.
There is something happening and help is needed by all involved.
It does not seem as if this child wants to be at home.
Is she a rebellious teenager, or is she chafing at the bit by the restraints of her mother, or is it something more.
The last time I commented on this issue I indicated that a multi-pronged effort needed to be utilized.
Sometimes, as harsh as it is to hear, children run away as an appeal for help and it needs to be ascertained if this is the cause. Sometimes as a young teenager young girls are led by wrong companions, or seduced by boys and or men leading them down a straying path. There are many reasons and we should not rush to judgement of either the child or the parent, but rather get to know what the problem is in order to solve it.
Obviously her mother seems to care, for she has reported her missing again. It is so soon after having been found and returned home that has me very concerned.
Counsellors and Child Welfare need to be brought into the picture.
Let us be the keeper of our neighbour as the bible says.
It is clear that there are social and family issues with the home that requires urgent attention and is making this child uncomfortable and distressing. Family conflicts, abuse of some sort (physical, emotional or sexual), neglect, substance abuse within the family, mental health problems, peer pressure or bullying – a child seeking to escape or not wanting to be in her family home, speaks volume. Both parent and child needs therapy and perhaps instead of asking her to return home, the authorities should find her secure and safe temporary shelter until both herself and her mother can be helped. Asking the child to go back home to what might be a very toxic and pernicious situation could be very disastrous. Those of us on the outside do not know the full story. It’s the people in the kitchen who feels the heat.
The police must stop giving false information to tge public.
It is either information is not being circulated or the police want to appear to be concerned.
The family has informed the police of who picked up the child.
They know where the child was taken to.
They know the make, model and registration number of the vehicle wich picked up the child.
The child is not and I repeat not missing.
The family knows who she left home with.
Shouldn’t she still be going to school? So why don’t the authorities take her in hand.. she is still a minor
Old people have a saying who can’t hear will feel and time is indeed longer than rope
Hmmmm. something is not cooking about this. something is up. and authorities need to look into this. How can you reach back home and choose to leave again? these kids are sickening but we can’t assume too fast
Is she happy at home? did we stop to find out? something must be wrong here, either she is not happy at home or someone is forcing her to do this. Think about it
AntiguaNewsRoom Please disturb my phone with better news. You’re basically just saying here that she went home to show her face, bathe, change her clothes and leave. Come on these kids don’t want nothing good for dem self
Mental illness is no joke
She ran out of cloths….This girl mehnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
What going in her home she doesn’t want to stay there?
This child needs help… What is she running from?
She didnt let a day pass …
Where and what wa she doing the first time she ran away?
What wrong with this little girl?
While we are here assuming something is wrong at her home, why not we also assume that this young girl do not want to be there?
The young girl has made her decision.
I had a sister who did the same at that age. The heavens are not falling people, calm down..it’s clear that this young girl thinks her decisions in life is in her own hands. Leave her be.
Poor you!!!
That child need help, I don’t care what nobody say, there is a deep seeded problem and she do need help, something wrong some where, What is youth prevention good for, you all need to get to the bottom, before somethi g else happen, before the what it’s
Some times we need to look inward a child’s mind we dont know mentally or spiritually what is happening to her or her surroundings some kids yes wants thier own way but you just never know. We can say she rude wants her own way but waht the proper authorities need to do is to gain her trust so she opens up they just might be shocked at what’s actually going on and these predators feed on that with our young
It’s a home thing
Something is definitely wrong here . How can she be returned and disappear the next….. Im not jumping to conclusions! The attorities need to take a look at this .
Excuse me? Is she mentally unwell?
Sorry to burst your bubbles but the problem is there’s no boundaries at home that’s y she keep doing this shit. Parents have become friends with there kidds and thats a major issue. Everyone of us have had some kind of parenting and we still had done our deed as a kid growing up. We slip out to meet bf and gf but not to the extent these kidds going. And they faces no consequences for there actions.
