The Ministry of Sports has received a significant boost ahead of the 2025 Interschool Football Competition with the donation of 160 footballs from Joma Caribbean.
The presentation took place on Wednesday morning, where Director of Sports Heather Samuel-Daley accepted the contribution on behalf of the School Football Unit. Joma Caribbean, together with Cool and Smooth, has been a longstanding supporter of school and national sports in Antigua and Barbuda.
Samuel-Daley expressed her gratitude to the sponsors, noting that their continued partnership has helped sustain the growth of football at the youth level.
The 2025 interschool season officially begins tomorrow with a knockout tournament for both girls’ and boys’ teams at the ABFA Technical Facility. Matches are scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
