THE POSITION
We are recruiting an IT Assistant to work closely with OECS IT staff to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and assist with the implementation of IT policies and projects within the Antigua business.
You will have the following key accountabilities:
To assist end users on all IT related issues; ensuring these issues are logged and progressed to conclusion.
Assist with system setup, support, and maintenance services to ensure all IT related hardware (computers, routers, switches, printers and more) are fully functional across the Unicomer Antigua business unit.
Support and assist the OECS IT Manager in ensuring Unicomer Antigua policies and guidelines relating to the IT Policy are adhered to by all users.
Support and assist the OECS IT Manager in ensuring that all Unicomer Antigua IT Assets are always secured with Asset Invento-ry updated weekly or when changes are made.
Respond to IT support tickets in a timely manner and escalate issues as needed.
Assist with IT security measures, including monitoring for potential threats and implementing security protocols.
Act as a liaison between local vendors to resolve IT related issues.
Assist with the implementation of changes or any other IT related duties assigned by the OECS IT
THE CANDIDATE
Qualification/ Education/Experience
Associates Degree, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Advanced skills in MS Excel
Sound commercial and business awareness
Sound knowledge of accounting and other regulatory requirements
Excellent communication and presentation skills

Highly analytical

Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills
