I have the greatest respect for Ms Messiah but as one who has been unable to keep a single member of her party, many of whom have resigned and spoken about her autocratic style of leadership, I really do not think that she has any credibility on this issue.
Listening to the leader of the NDC, Ms. Messiah experienced the same thing that Honourable Smith experienced. It appears that the UPP is moving in the wrong direction and they need to make some adjustments quick, fast and in a hurry. What a tangled web we weave.
No one wants to hear dah ooman day. She was once my favourite politician but now when I see her, the back of my mouth fills up with spit and the feeling of puke comes upon me. Much like the words of Shakespeare, “her vestal livery is but sick and green and none but fools do wear it” -cast her out, and so she was. Now se dung and shut up ooman! The irony of her speaking out about rifts and problems in the upp party when her own DNA party imploded under her so called leadership is very telling… I dont know what it will take for her to realize that she is politically DEAD!! Messiah and especially Gisele needs to understand when a majority says its time up, respect people views for the betterment of your country and do the honorable thing to step aside. Allow fresh new ideas and enthusiastic people to take the party forward!! Everyone knows u have a vendetta against persons who u want to prove your point but its clearly NOT working!! Here are some ideas UPP if you want to win next election: The upp MP’s should push for a no confidence vote on Gisele and Pringle. Insert Richard Lewis as opposition leader as he has been demostrating his ability since the convention…. replace Gisele with with Harold lovell as party chairman…. replace Alistair Thomas with a younger candidate as Alistair will never beat Gaston. I’d say put Pearl Quinn there to go up against Gaston. Find younger candidates who are engaging, bright, enthusiastic and charismatic and full of energy. Gisele and Pringle is boring and old school.

May I suggest you give your questions to Pringle or any of the UPP parliamentarians and ask them to put them before the PM at the next sitting of the house. They do ask questions every sitting of parliament from the PM
@CHIME. What UPP internal problems?? There is house -cleaning going on there and it’s for the best. Now, what is going on in UPP is not dissimilar to what is going on in ABLP. Sometime ago, Lennox Weston made a remark, and I paraphrase, Dem no cut no Cassie bush but dey want to come in and control. Sounds familiar to you? We know that nobody cut more Cassie bush than: Giselle, Chaku,Harold etc. so from whence cometh these young pretenders who have not put themselves out there as fighters of the cause of getting rid of ABLP? As I mentioned before,young Regis Burton expressed his interest of being a candidate. He has been told to sit down, and not in a nice way, by the dictator who has all the say in ABLP. Do you see Regis wringing hands and crying? No, he simply settles in place and wait for another opportunity. So how come these young people in UPP don’t want to wait? They just want things to be handed to them and not earn it and when they don’t get it cry “Leadership”.
