Jnoure Craig has been sentenced to 34 years in prison for the 2017 murder of visually impaired Amlack Lambert, who was fatally shot at a Nut Grove bar. Convicted in October, Craig’s claims of innocence were dismantled during the trial.
A witness identified someone matching Craig’s description arguing with Lambert before the shooting, and evidence placed Craig at the scene with a gun. Cell site data also contradicted his alibi, showing his phone in Nut Grove at the time of the crime.
During sentencing, Justice Ann-Marie Smith highlighted Lambert’s vulnerability, increasing the penalty from a 30-year baseline to 34 years.
