Today marks what would have been the 75th birthday of the late Sonia Benjamin, a respected figure known for her longstanding commitment to public service. Family, friends, and supporters are observing the day with deep reflection, honoring her legacy and the enduring impact of her life’s work.
Benjamin, who passed away last year, served with distinction in the Royal Police Force of Antigua & Barbuda and was a devoted member of the St. Peter’s Anglican Church. Her generosity, strong sense of duty, and passion for service continue to inspire many.
In December 2024, her family carried out a special outreach initiative in her honor. Motivated by its success, Jessica Berman has announced that this year’s effort will be expanded significantly, reaching more households and individuals during the Christmas season.
