A 32-year-old Jennings man is expected to be sentenced this morning after pleading guilty to possessing a dangerous modified weapon.
Steven Roberts admitted to the offence during a court appearance on Wednesday before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel.
Police discovered a modified nail gun and two 9mm rounds during a March 25 raid. A woman initially charged alongside Roberts was released after pleading not guilty.
