Jehovah’s Witnesses Regional Convention; Three-day Program Promises Only Good News!

In a world where bad news endlessly streams on social media, TV and radio, a three-day live event, open to the public, will deliver only good news!

One of the largest convention organizations in the world returns to the Gambles Expandable Kingdom Hall in Gambles, St. John’s, Antigua, with a much-anticipated motivational program to comfort and encourage the public.

Jehovah’s Witnesses will present their 2024 “Declare the Good News!” convention series on the weekend of July 26 to 28, 2024. The free three-day live event is expected to draw more than 850 attendees to the city during that weekend, including visitors from Montserrat.

“We are happy to be gathered once again for our annual regional convention,” said Carl Harris, local spokesperson for Jehovah’s Witnesses. “For thousands of people who need to experience some positivity in their lives, this three-day convention promises to deliver only good news. We are excited to enjoy the program.”

The “Declare the Good News!” convention will present Bible-based videos, discourses and interviews on topics such as…

  1. Why Do We Need Good News?
  2. What Will You Do “for the Sake of the Good News”?
  3. Why We Don’t Fear Bad News

Saturday spotlights a baptism of candidates, while a two-part video feature will captivate the audience on Friday and Saturday mornings. Prior to each convention, local congregations will engage in a campaign to invite community members to this free event.

Last year, nearly 13 million people attended more than 6,000 three-day conventions worldwide.

  1. What good news that they will help keep world population in check in that if a family member of theirs is dying the would not donate blood?

Is that part of the good news?

  2. Gotta go to understand and not judge, one of them can explain why you’re not suppose to take blood then you can use your common sense and form your opinion/truth.

  3. I may not agree with everything they say or believe, but some of the nicest people I’ve encountered in my life have been Jehovah’s Witnesses. Best wishes to them for their convention.

  4. If only we would stop judging based on what people say but rather find out the truth about a person, this world would be a better place. Stop listening to others and get the truth from the source

  5. My father went to the one in St. Croix and now struggling to breathe in the hospital with Covid he picked up at the conference please wear your mask etc
