Green Bay Man Charged with Unlawful Possession of Firearm and Ammunition
St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, Saturday day, 15th November 2025
Police have arrested and charged 37-year-old jamala Joseph of #3 George Street, Green Bay for the unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition, following a stop-and-search operation in the area.
Around 1:00 a.m. on Friday, November 14, officers attached to the Grays Farm Police Station were responding to a report in the Green Bay community when they intercepted a vehicle on George Street. During the search of the vehicle, officers discovered one .25 Beretta pistol and two rounds of .25 ammunition.
Joseph was arrested and taken into police custody. He was later formally charged with Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Ammunition.
The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda continues to take a firm stance against illegal firearms and remains committed to removing illegal weapons from the streets to ensure the safety of all residents.
