  1. watta nasty, rar-rar-ray-ray accent! Waiting onthe police to release official names of all 3 punks that terrorized these shops.

  2. So why they did not reach out to him to stop terrorizing people. So the police should have allowed him to kill them or others?
You live by the sword, you die by the sword.
It is obvious he did not place value on his life or others.
He lived like a fool, so he died like one!
Hopefully, this will be a warning to others to desist from their Hooligan behavour.
    Salvation has come!
This is the time to accept Jesus!
May God help us in this nation!

  3. Don’t mix with persons carrying out crimes. Simple. If the escape from the robbery was successful would he of went to the police and said the names of the persons involved?

Also, this has nothing to do with nationality. Some of these crimes that are taking place have been done by born Antiguans as well. If the guy that died happened to be Jamaican that was just how it went on that day. He wasn’t marked for death specifically as a Jamaican.

  4. They going on like they don’t know that them come into the country to do their crime and go back. Plus jobs hard to get in Antigua and they want money fast. U think it’s easy living in this country yah without a job or a support person?

  5. When you come to Antigua keep your ass still an enjoy our little paradise……

    Police kill them rass

You think it’s tic tock easy money we work hard in Antigua.

  6. I want to take this opportunity to commend the police for their actions in defending the safety of the Antiguan and Barbuda public. These punks must be put to sit in jail or to sleep six feet under, we make no apologies, we don’t care who they are and we don’t care where they come from.

If you want to rob people then you better be prepared to die.

  7. My question is did anyone happen to scan thru the comments made because from the 200 and add I read there were all stating something opposite to what I just read.

  8. Tell dem Jamaicans go deal with Cherry Tree Lane massacre. A that you wah bring a Antigua. And JCF done dirt one of the suspects already!!!
The Worl Boss buss big murder case so all gangsta now feel liberated and empowered!!!!

  9. All now the police should r still r shoot he. That’s y nobody want r u Jamaican rass in dem country because r spoil dem reputation. Not even a year good in the country and u done r robbed. Shoot them skunt 1k more times

  10. They should be outraged that he went to another country and participated in a crime. Just because he is “famous” doesn’t make him innocent. The police were chasing people who had just committed a crime. How much more guilty could they be? They exchanged fire with police. There would have been numerous witnesses in the area. No one has said that didn’t happen. If you exchange fire with police then of course you can get shot. Case closed.

  11. Stop supporting criminals and maybe they’ll stop committing crimes? Widespread support for criminals just makes the entire Jamaican community seem more sus. If you don’t want people to suspect Jamaicans then you should condemn criminal activity no matter who does it.

  12. I want to say, if the officers act lawfully, and these are the guys, I commend these officers and they have my support. I will also demand for evidence showing these are the same men involved in the Burglary and arm robbery on that day or any other past incident to be provided to the public in a haste.

I have expressed before that a lot of the crimes I see occurring fit a Jamaican style, not saying Antiguans are not involved, but what I observed, scientifically, the increase in Jamaicans in Antigua has a correlation with the increase in certain kind of crimes (vicious, armed, inherently dangerous crimes). This is a fact and not meant to discriminate.

I am demanding for the names of these officers to be cleared by providing evidence of the unlawful firearms and cash the suspects had on them and security footage of the Burglary and robbery.

The police have my support in this one as long as they acted reasonable.

This is not hating my fellow Caribbean people but there are too much Jamacians in the small island, there should be a yearly cap.

  13. What an upside down society Jamaica is, they are outraged over the police shooting armed robbers and not over the armed robbers holding innocent people at gun point for their hard earned possessions… Antigua’s downfall will be their open immigration policy when the history books are written. These Jamaicans have no love for this country! It doesn’t matter to them that their citizen was welcomed into the country and turn around and terrorize our citizens. They don’t care about the welfare of our country. To them every Jamaican is better than any Antiguan. Imagine the audacity of them calling on our prime minister to look into the police taking out
their rougue Jamaicans. Antigua better change their immigration policy and start putting its citizens first, irrespective of who is in government because it won’t be long before these elements who are only here to get what they can, end up completely destroying what is left of this once great nation that our forefathers worked so hard to build.

  14. How about the same disgust with the violent music they keep exporting, glorifying this type of behaviour? Now one of their own has fallen to the GAZA lifestyle. It’s tragedy but obviously the police didn’t know or care of his nationality.

  15. could this be why UPP hates Jamaicans so much? Their ambassador Bruce goodwin called them PAUPERS etc etc. The Chairman can’t stand one of her MPs because his wife is JAMAICAN! guess u cant blame upp for behaving so

  16. When some of us (born-ya-Antiguans) said in the past, that our authorities in Antigua is encouraging the DREGS from other countries to come in here and take up residence among us, it was said that WE ARE
    ANTI-FOREIGNERS.

Well, we tek wha we get now.

JUST SO THAT I AM UNDERSTOOD PELLUCIDLY. If any non-national is going to come here and be a DRAG/CHARGE/NEGATIVE TO OUR COUNTRY, they should not be encouraged here. SIMPLE AS THAT.

But you know SOME POLITICAL PARTY want dem votes so they can eat on the State like parasites, so to hell with the country, just bring all and sundry in.

I am convinced that more stone-throwing is coming and eventually they will start killing the
born-ya-Antiguans but guess what, some born-ya-Antiguans will not tek it so. NOT IN THE COUNTRY OR OUR BIRTH.

  17. This story just went into my stomach and through my ass. Jamaican police and government why y’all don’t sit y’all asses down. You do the crime you go suffer the time.

  18. Typical, SMH!!! If they weren’t stopped yesterday they would eventually be stopped at some point. There’s a time limit to everything in life. Practice good deed, surround yourself with people that will influence you to do positive things. By the company you keep you shall be known.

  19. Well uncle u should a talk to him because I sure all a au no war he was doing u live by the sword ⚔️ u dead by it no sorry they for he so all the well known tiktika he be oh well when it comes to dat innocent a go suffer for the guity

  20. Dear Jamaicans,
Stop coming to Antigua to commit crimes. Simple. It doesn’t matter who he was or how you knew him. He was commiting a crime and got shot as a result. You have no right to demand anything, and you have no right to be wrong and strong. That’s the problem with you people. You are like rats, roaches, fleas, vermin. Everywhere you go, tarnish the countries you migrate to with your nasty attitude, vile ways, and criminal behaviour; then when your countrymen are caught and punished or receive their just due, you cry that they were wronged. Please stay over there and be quiet. It would be wonderful if all of you could be removed from the face of the earth.

  21. Shut up yuh bl**dcl^rt unuh sound stupid yf, some Jamaican feel say dem a the badness thing on planet earth and always a do fuckry, scamming, murder, robbery, drug dealings etc. plenty a unuh inna Antigua go get jailed, send back home or gvnsh*t.

  22. Whilst you are concerned about the safety of Jamaicans abroad, we are equally concerned about the safety and security of all citizens and residents in Antigua and Barbuda.

So spread this message loud and clare to your fellow countrymen, if you are a law abiding citizen, you are welcome here. If you have criminal intent and engage in criminality and terrorize our country, we will deal with you and it does not matter where you are from…. Criminals are not welcome.

  23. This is laughable saying that Antigua’s police like to target innocent youth. The police here hardly arrest anyone in the middle of or just after a crime. They usually get them from tip offs and searches later. If the police arrest anyone in the middle of or after a crime they are always very obviously guilty. If the young men in the car weren’t guilty, why did they have guns and fire at the police? If Jamaicans support criminals then maybe it’s time to end freedom of movement and return to strict work permits for Jamaicans. Advertise all positions to locals first. If a business can’t find a local to hire then a work permit is issued to a non-national. Only persons who already have a job lined up and a work permit should be allowed to stay for more than a limited time. If they think we’re biased against them they don’t have to come here. Perhaps the violent crime rate will mysteriously decline. I know I know Antiguans commit crime too, but society here doesn’t support and uphold criminals.

  24. Wa dem feel like? Antigua is some toon town? Bout investigate Antigua with his false report. You can’t want to stay where you’re from and run our country.. Consequences for actions.

  25. what is that clown in the video really saying???? That the police target “Dindin”and pin the crim on him??? Boy jus shut ya mouth…you think is Dudas neighbourhood dis?

  26. The prime minister and Police force need not concern themselves with whatever outcry is being made on Jamaican social media. If he had been doing the right things he’d be alive today.

“Smith, who had only been in Antigua for a couple of months, was well-known on TikTok and had a significant following.”

So… having a following means that you’re a good person and don’t commit crime?

“His death has sparked intense debate and speculation on social media, particularly in Jamaica, where many are questioning the circumstances surrounding the shooting.”

The circumstances are that you were in a vehicle with other criminal elements that pointed firearms at police officers, and the police in defense fired upon them. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Antigua is not used to the types of high crimes that we’ve been seeing in recent times. Wherever the local criminals or the foreign ones are bringing it from… they need to carry it back. We don’t want it here!

Do not come to Antigua to commit crimes and expect any special exemption. Furthermore, all of the occupants of that vehicle should have been eliminated on the spot. Not sent the prison to get fat on tax payers’ money.

Fair Antigua we salute thee… dwell in love and unity!

  27. Wait is one of those, “Caricom brothers”, that people say we don’t live? Well as you can see there is good reasons for this.
For any Jamaican who is outraged, you don’t have to here but we don’t want Antigua to be an extension of Jamaica. Good job police.

  28. Any sungulung, whoever he or she might be, wherever dem come from. If you want play jack ass, no want foo work hard foo wa you want, den you you end going to be bitter. Thar goes for even antiguans who na want work but smell sweet. A tief is a killer, so if he is caught then it’s either or either.
Tap tief and terrorize people who work foo wa dem want.

  29. I am a Jamaican , but a citizen here, and I am tired of the stupidity that foreigners want to come here to do. I work very hard for want I want, and we all should adopt that instead of coming here to bring down the country and causing fear in the Citizens life. I totally agree with the police with their work, it was well done, and alot more will be going down if they come here with with their nastiness.

  30. Go fi him n kill him again and again. What u live by u dead by.may JESUS CATCH all a u too in jamaica that a ROB n kill too.amen

  31. As a Jamaican, I total support the actions of the ABRPF. 8 years mi deh here a work hard in security and doing good, mi nah support nuh boy weh come ya a mash up di country. All who vex go s*ck unuh mumma! Tan a yard wid e phuckry! Nuh come ya wid it.

  32. Deport arl de Jamaican males outta Antigua. Ah dem ah commit de majority ah dem robbery deh. Dem used to dat shit weh dem come fram – and dem notice how slack Antiguan businesses security are. I remember way back when they were hired at bargain center and dem set up dem friends fu come rob the owner when he was leaving with the money to deposit inna de bank — dem shot one of the owner.
Ah long time dem a do dem shit inna Antigua and get weh wid it. Dem na com ya fu mek any positive contribution, most of dem don’t see Antigua as their home.
Round dem up an ship dem back a Jungle and Rema!
I said what I said who don’t like can go dead

  33. I’m just vex the police didn’t kill all of them. You want to play bad man you should be dealt like a bad man

  34. The disdainful comments allotted to the facts of the crime, need no rebuttal from any Antiguan 🇦🇬 Barbudan, period! So to the Jamaicans exhaling your feigning dismay–that, a violent member of your clan have been neutralized in commission of a crime; should be a gain to 🇯🇲, as you surely must be cognizant that the vile nasty habits and, violent vociferous reputation of Jamaicans, precede them where ever they venture to rome. Thus, it was with a certainty of the involvement in the spate of criminal activities were not committed by members of the indigenous population per se. This prevailing trend of been a victim of armed robbery was effected on my person by Jamaicans in New York City, and have robbed me of my sense of personal security; accompanying clinical trauma and acute apprehension devoid of trust manifested toward Jamaicans. Given the news of their involvement was like an eureka moment to me, and I enthusiastically commend Our Law Enforcement Officers; for “a job well done”. As per the PM offering and explanation: that is a null and void issue to posture–of the happenstance of a viscous criminal who met his demise within the parameters of lawful engagement in defense of self and, the law abiding citizenry of Antigua 🇦🇬 Barbuda: I would demand for the cost of the manpower, and resources of the State involved–pertinent to this matter, to include, but not limited to the bullets expended: be forward to Jamaica PM: Holness, for expedited service rendered by The State Of 🇦🇬: for the perpetrator’s repatriation to 🇯🇲: And just blink good riddance to bad rubbish. Will the good Jamaicans: Please, Stand Up!

  35. Without a shadow of a doubt there’s good and bad pervading all nationalities and hues.

All autochthonous Antiguans want our Head of The Immigration Department Katrina Yearwood to do is her due diligence in protective action against those who want to come here and cause mayhem and destabilise our way of life.

And not forgetting the law enforcement authorities who have the immense task of protecting our borders and shorelines.

  36. soooo what happens to the Antuguan who committee the crime too why only this guy mentioned???
aren’t the others relevant one thing I know
I won’t put up with what he doing he give away his life by hanging around those guys an funny thing is he was never part of there crimes but this wat happen wen u hang around bad company u get caught up in there mess an even wwn ur innocent yu will die with them because the police won’t spare you he never should a hang around them
he should a go rent an apartment for himself until his 6 month up to return to Jamaica
but I dnt understand why are they only highlighting him an not the Antuguan among him too

  37. Exactly, dem love sing violence but when one ah dem get the kootoom skim they wan cry. I guess Mary John was right about them.

  38. Whether Jamaican or Jafakecan, we need to uphold the law of the land. Police actions is living proof that crime pays…not for the Robber, but for the Funeral Home. Crime Supporters who cry foul on the Police need to save their tears for the Criminal’s Funeral.

  39. There are several things mentioned about this person
The most significant is that he popular on ticktock. With what and so what ?
    Popularity on ticktock doing what?
Teaching deferential equations? or Organic chemistry?
My guess is that his popularity was not with anything that was uplifting.
For the months he was in Antigua maybe the authorities in Jamaica should be asking or telling us what was his source of income ?
    What was his immigration status?
This ANR article raises the question about
“The incident has not only ignited discussions about the safety of Jamaican nationals abroad but also raised concerns about the potential for police overreach in cases involving foreigners”
How about the safety of Antiguans and Barbudans ?
Crime in Jamaica was fueled by the Garrison form of politics where politicians created the criminal environmental for the sake of votes
I hope Antigua and Barbuda is not going in that direction.

  40. I said two weeks ago and I said it yesterday. As soon as the Police begin to take out these criminals, we will hear the chorus that they were altar boys. Cry and bawl as much as you like. Relatives and close friends must be able to identify all the masked bandits but no one is coming forward. Someone must recognize a body type, the way they move and even the hoodies they are wearing. I have 3 nephews and with or without their faces covered I can identify them. So when the Police take them out
don’t come here with your crocodile tears.

  41. The evil you would do eventually caught up with you.You live by the sword you die by that sword. You hold up small businesses in Antigua with a gun,you would die by the Police Guns. All of you with minds of criminality had better take heed lest you fall.

  42. I do not know what are the circumstances with regard to the incident, however the blood which was spilled out today is not worse than the tears we’ve been shedding all this time.

  43. Antigua n Barbuda do not owe you no explanation….if he was not in on the robbery why was he in the car with known criminals? …..don’t speak just for fame or tick tok ratings…..but rather for wright and wrong…….how many robbery’s the country had in the past few weeks n the description of the individuals are given ……he lime with robber’s he does with them

  44. @smh, you must be a special kind of stupid. Did you even read the article?
You see any Antiguan defending any of those robbers — calling for special investigation & justice — showing concerns about police overreach when dealing with 🇦🇬n criminals?

To the irate Jamaicans in Jamaica, he got his justice! If y’all are SO concerned about the treatment of fellow Jamaicans in foreign countries, please, I’m begging y’all,
please advise your country men fu TAN ah YARD. TAP come ah 🇦🇬! That way, you’ll be assured, they’ll only be subjected to the Jamaican treatment. Carz mi kno sey, inna Jamaica, arl 3 a dem wuddah min dead.

  45. Dear Jamaicans … if you don’t like the treatment or consequences to your criminal actions … FEEL FREE TO LEAVE AND STOP CORRUPTING OUR COUNTRY … BYE

  46. Meanwhile in Jamaica itself as copied from another media source:
“Quick response by the po￾lice to an early morning rob￾bery at a liquor store in Yal￾lahs, St Thomas, that ended with three thieves shot dead
has won plaudits from resi￾dents who have expressed an￾noyance that their parish has
    been targeted by criminals.”

  47. I unreservedly praise our police services for their actions with lawfully executing their duties. For too long criminals in Antigua have been allowed to get away with commiting heinous crimes, many of which are carried out by foreign nationals.

What’s pellucidily clear, the immigration services is not fit for any purpose and it badly broken. Whilst they might be mileage with the instrument of CARICOM, it shouldn’t be used to allow other members state rejects to enter Antigua to commit crime. Skilled/ qualified CARICOM citizens should be allowed to enter to fulfill a vacant position in areas where a native Antiguan cannot fill, outside of that access to Antigua should be denied.

In 1968 the Jamacian Later Prime Minster Bustamante declared “I have no time for small islands I have a country to build”. He pulled out from the West Indies Federation. How times have changed!

My foreparents cut the wild tamarind and cassie trees to paved the way for Antigua to be where it is at today, no thanks to Jamacians, Nigerians and Chinese criminals who have been allowed to gain access and remain illegally in Antigua.

Recently, the government has granted Nigerians free access to Antigua, but Antiguans would need to apply for visa to visit Nigeria, Nigeria will generate incomes from visa application and in return Antigua will inherit fraudsters and scammers.

Jamacians are in no position to call upon Antigua to provide a transparent account for the death of one of their citizens who was directly or indirectly involved in criminal activities, including firing shots at Crown civil servants who are employed to keep the King’s peace.

It’s unfortunate, that the officers were only able to permanently put one out of action, in my views all three should have been taken out and should not be getting free medical treatments and ultimately, will be an added burden to the state once convicted.

This incident should indicate to the Minister responsible for the police services, the urgent need to equipped our police officers with the resources to carry out their duties, take radical steps to bring an end to the criminal activities that is sweeping throughout our country.

In addition, the Minister should aim to improve the broken Immigration Services, get Immigration officers out and about and locate and deport all illegal immigrants, introduce visa requirements for CARICOM citizens, rescind on making Nigeria visa free.

This Administration has failed our country, as many Antiguans do not know what it means to be Antiguans, courtesy of this administration, all breeds of dogs come to Antigua create mess on a monumental level all to our disadvantaged. For example, the UK and other EU countries have decided to remove the privilege of Antiguans having free accessi.

Antigua should no longer be a safe heaven for criminals. Well done officers, keep up the good work.
