Deported Ex-Convict Jeffrey “Nash” Campbell Sent Back to Jamaica After Court Reversal

A Jamaican man previously convicted of murder was deported from Antigua and Barbuda on Sunday, following a swift reversal of a court decision that had temporarily halted his removal.

Jeffrey “Nash” Campbell boarded a Caribbean Airlines flight on April 27, three days after the High Court revoked the bail granted to him on April 22 by Acting Chief Magistrate Dexter Wason.

Campbell, who had lived in Antigua since 2005, was initially released on $10,000 bail with conditions including biweekly check-ins with Immigration and a surrender of travel documents.

The temporary reprieve had allowed him time to settle personal affairs before a planned deportation on May 18.

  1. Justice delayed is not justice denied. Copper’s family must finally feel some closure. That man had no business walking free in this country again.

  2. I used to see him around Kentish Road quiet quiet. You’d never know what he had done. This country too lenient sometimes.

  3. Yes, he did wrong. But 19 years is a long time. He made a life here. Deportation might be legal, but it still feels cold.

  4. Why was he still here after being convicted of murder? That’s the real question. Immigration and the justice system need to tighten up.

  5. So after nearly 20 years here, they just put him on a plane like that? What about the children he fathered here? We need a better way to handle these situations.

  6. Justice delayed is not justice denied. Copper’s family must finally feel some closure. That man had no business walking free in this country again.

  7. The court should never have granted bail in the first place. It sends the wrong message to the public—especially when it’s someone with that kind of record.

  8. Nash was never an easy goer,he was breaking laws of antigua left right an center……..Much ppl wouldn’t know because they had no idea……..He was selling everything illegal like weed and guns plus breaking into homes, the company he kept on Christian Street know exactly what I’m talking about………After Nash killed copper he still tried to board a flight back to his native country without copper family and kids getting justice, but someone knew and tip off Gray’s farm police station and they were swift enough to get him off that flight to face justice………His kids are not living in Antigua so it’s a gd move to deport him back to his native country………Alot more here need to follow him,if they have kids here send them with them also……Calf always follow mumma

  9. Stop making up stories because if you knew anything then you would know copper mom and him talk on a regular and that man never break into anyone’s home you must be one of the bitches he fuck and duck and he was not deported that man boarded a flight and went home

  10. all of you who are commenting information that is false, please shut up. Copper wanted to end Nash’s life, so it’s a kill or be killed situation, and Nash got him first. That is how the world works. If any one of you were in that situation, I know you would do the same. Everyone who knows Nash knows he is a quiet man, he doesn’t trouble you unless you come for him, ask anyone in Kentish or anyone from Christian street. He did his time effortlessly, so now that it’s time for him to go home, and here you guys are yapping a bunch of nonsense.

  11. Is not everything you read on the media is true copper and nash had no beef with each other !!!
Nash and Judah had a war against each other then a gun fight started on that day alot of us was on the corner and copper got hit in the cross fire

From day one nash had begged copper family for pardoned and they accepted it

Now the man is due to go home why the big fuss
He is a great guy and most of loved him
It’s really sad he had to leave but such is life
