A Jamaican murder suspect who was deported from Antigua this week was denied entry to Saint Lucia last week, according to St. Lucia Times.

The man has been identified as 28 year old Rohan Godfrey Hill.

Hill is a murder suspect and believed to be a member of a notorious gang in his country, was residing in Antigua for at least 18 months.

Last week, he and his girlfriend left Antigua on a LIAT flight to Saint Lucia and on arrival here, he was denied entry because his name was flagged in the security system as someone wanted for murder, the publication said.

Authorities in Saint Lucia sent the two back to Antigua where he was detained and deported on Monday.

Now questions are being raised as to why he and another wanted man,  Corey Francis,  were not picked up by Antigua ’s border security systems when they arrived or departed using the legal port of entry – the V.C. Bird International Airport.

Police sources in Antigua were quoted as saying that this occurred just days after another wanted immigrant, who was living in Antigua, left the island through the airport and travelled to another country.

  4. When you have Antigua and Barbuda security boarders port of entry especially the airport is filled non-national immigration workers, how do you expect criminals from other countries not to easily enter in? Can imagine how many more criminals are still here hiding out?
