A 26-year-old Jamaican man must pay $10,000 or face jail time after he pleaded guilty to gun and ammo charges this week.

When he appeared in the Magistrates court today, Shawn McIntosh was fined $5000 each for charges of possession of a .25 pistol and possession of five rounds of .25 ammunition.

The man who is not known to the court will spend six months in prison if he does not pay the fines.

Officers found the weapon concealed in a shoe when they executed a search warrant at Macintosh’s home in Campsite on Saturday.

The convict, who overstayed his time in the country, will likely be deported by the Immigration Department once he either pays the fine or serve the time.

  1. Why should a supermarket manager be charged $20,000, and this scumbag charged only half of that ($10,000) for the same offence? He should be charged $40,000 minimum.

    • The supermarket manager gun was a 9mm. Packing way much force than this guys .25. being shot with a 9mm is sure to cause major damage. The .25 not so much.

I’m guessing since the 9mm bullets are almost double the size of the .25 he got double the fine.

  2. Another Jamaican??????? They just come Antigua to f&$k it up like they did their own country. Dem jealous we so dem a try drag we down with dem.
