SOURCE: Jamaica Gleaner — Munro College upper sixth-form student Mark Sterling Jr is one step closer to graduating from the prestigious St Elizabeth-based high school as dancehall entertainer Valiant has offered to pay the more than $300,000 needed for him to cross the graduation stage.

Despite singing about ‘Dunce Cheque’, the fast-rising artiste says he values young people and education and he was moved to help the 18-year-old.

Valiant, who is overseas performing, is expected to visit the schoolboy and his family when he returns to the island.
